Comments about Clarisonic Acne Cleansing Brush Head:

I have mixed feelings about this brush head. I previously owned the brush head that comes with the original mia and was happy with it. Since I struggle with acne, I though I would try out the acne brush, makes sense right? Well it does remove all makeup from my pores, but it doesn't leave my skin smooth like the original brush head did. It has been at least a month since I purchased this brush and I will not purchase this particular one again. Time to go back to the original.

I use this morning and night to get that fresh skin feeling. I do recommend taking the brush head off at night and rinsing *behind the spinner. If you don't it starts getting gunk built up back there

Comments about Clarisonic Acne Cleansing Brush Head:

I started using the normal Clarisonic brush head, but it was too harsh and it made me second guess the Clarisonic system. Nope! Tried this brush, and can confirm it's actually softer than some of the other sensitive brushes. Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, and after two months of use, I absolutely had fewer breakouts of cystic acne. Yep, adult here with persistent cystic acne. I'm on my second brush now and skin is super happy. I highly recommend trying this brush if your skin is sensitive or prone to breakout.

            • Q:

I have oily acne prone skin, typically around that time of the month. I am debating between the deep pore and acne brush heads and was wondering which one would be better (keep in mind I have no current breakouts besides some black heads and acne scaring.)

                A:

Hi Maddie, thanks so much for your question. If you have oily skin with no sensitivity and you are not currently experiencing break out you may use the Deep Poor brush head. Acne brush head would be a suggestion when breakout is present. Both brush heads offer superior cleansing efficacy!

                A:

Hi there, thank you for your brush head. No, the Clarisonic Acne Cleansing Brush Head is not medicated. It is for skin that is acne-prone with some sensitivity. It features extra plush bristles that gently cleanse the skin and remove debris from pores.

            • Q:

I'm having trouble deciding between this and the deep pore cleansing brush. I have very oily skin with large pores and blackheads, and occasional whiteheads. I don't regularly get actual pimples, but when I do, they are large, swollen, deep-seeded fliud-filled cysts that linger for weeks at a time (usually one or two on my chin). I have already read the brush chart, so I know what each does-I'm just unsure of which would best suit my skin...

                A:

It sounds like the Deep Pore Brush Head may be best; when experiencing cystic acne, we advise to avoid using your Clarisonic brush on those areas until they have fully healed. Hope this helps!
