Im a big fan of Urban Decay and was excited to try this mascara BUT I was very disappointed when it started smudging 1/2 way through the day. I would NOT buy this mascara again.

First application is nice. When you apply the second it begins to clump. Soap and water does not remove this mascara - I have to use eye makeup remover.

I am trying SOOO hard to like this mascara, & I'm having trouble for a number of reasons. It's not marketed as being waterproof, but it wears like one, which is a good & bad thing (& also why I listed "waterproof" as a pro AND a con). Good because it stays on really well, but bad because I wasn't looking for a waterproof mascara (they tend to pull my eyelashes out when I try to remove it, no matter how gentle I am with oil-based removers). It doesn't lengthen much, in my opinion, but this is okay (I guess) because my eyelashes are pretty long to begin with. What I sort of hate (but am trying to work with & hopefully love later) is the "Big Fatty" aspect of this mascara. It definitely makes your lashes fatter, but it does so by clumping them all together. Instead of many wonderful, fat, volumized lashes, I end up with 10 fat, clumpy lashes on each eye. I use a lash separater, but it's difficult to use even then. On the upside, they're easy to separate when they're wet, & they take quite a while to dry (not too friendly if time is of the essence), but it leaves so much residual mascara on my lids that I don't use this mascara if I have eyeshadow on. On the downside, the lashes are impossible to separate once they're dry. I just...I don't know...maybe I need to watch a few YouTube videos to figure out how to use it "properly".
I'd give it 1 star but I'm still trying really hard to like it. =/

I temporarily switched to Urban Decay's Big Fatty mascara when their Super Curl mascara was out of stock. I loved it so much, that I'm now hooked and sworn on it. I use this mascara almost every day. One of my favorite things about it isn't just how incredible it looks on my eyelashes, but the fact that my sensitive eyes can handle it, irritation-free! I recommend this mascara to everyone. It does everything! The value is great, too. My only con is the raccoon-eyes I get after showering if I've left it on in the shower. However, it's nothing make-up remover or lotion can't handle.

I went into an Ulta store looking for a new mascara because the one I was currently using didn't give me the definition I was looking. A sales associated directed me over to Urban Decay Totally Loaded Big Fatty Mascara duo and mentioned to me they were running a special when you buy 2. I applied this mascara over-top of one of my eyes and the instant difference of my eyes was amazing. My lashes had volume, they were long and well-defined and my other eye looked as if I didn't even have mascara on. Now I am a person where I like to see my lashes with full volume so I was sold! Only part I don't like is that it is really difficult to get it all off at the end of each day even after you wash your face or shower you will still need to use an eye makeup remover.
