Love it!

Comments about Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Treatment:

If you buy this product with the expectation of an opaque lipstick, you're going to be disappointed. This is a tint. I was looking for a moisturizing red lip tint, and this is it! The application is even, the lipstick is moisturizing, and the color is buildable. It's pretty easy to find a nice opaque lip color, but it's much harder to find a sheer one that actually looks and feels great on. I love this.

Comments about Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Treatment:

I'll admit I totally got sucked in by the marketing on this one. Looks nice on the lips, just didn't wow me. Tastes okay and seems to last for at least a few hours, but I didn't find it particularly moisturizing. It's a good product overall, but I wouldn't pay that sort of money for this product again.

Comments about Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Treatment:

I love the look, the packaging the retro feel of this brand. The way this lipstick glides on is wonderful. Very sheer and wears off easily. I am very pale skinned, freckled, with redhair and blue eyes. My lips have some nice natural color to them and this lipstick just didn't last or make my lips pop the way I wanted them to.

Sheer red for a daytime look

Comments about Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Treatment:

This is one of those baby lips colors that's a nice sheer red. If you're fair with pigmented lips this will come off as very red. More golden and olive skin tones will get less red tone and it sometimes looks like a berry red. It's comfortable and moisturizing. And the LQ formula is somewhat long lasting.

Comments about Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Treatment:

This is a beautiful, very hydrating lipstick. It feels great to apply, the container is really cool looking, and I don't regret purchasing it.

However...although it is supposed to be sheer, and many reviewers seemed to state that it was definitely sheer (in fact, too sheer for some), I don't agree. I AM VERY PALE, AND ON ME, THIS WAS A VERY red RED. It was no different than if I would have purchased an opaque, bright, intense normal red lipstick. Even with just one coat, the amount of red was powerful with my complextion; I wasn't trying to build up the color at all, it was already more than I would've liked.

It is pretty, and very moisturizing, but if you are pale, be warned: it will appear very red.

Comments about Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Treatment:

While it looks like a dark red in the tube, it is a very sheer application--just enough tint to make your lips pretty and healthy. Also, its sheerness means it can agree with a wide range of skin tones. While I wouldn't use it as a lip balm, its high vitamin e content means it has a comfortable finish. Of course, with all the vitamin e in it and its sheer color, it will not last a very long time. However, because of its sheerness, you can actually get away with re-application without a mirror. Keep it in your purse for those mornings when you're rushing or days when you're working late: it will give a pretty, healthy look while managing to be low key.

Comments about Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Treatment:

The medieval thing had me wanting this for a long time before I went for it, because it is more money than I would normally spend on a lipstick. It was quite disappointing though because the color/tint is SO SHEER that it's like a glossy barely tinted chapstick. It's beautiful in the tube. It feels great on my lips and if you work at applying then blotting then applying then blotting, eventually you can build up to a sheer rouge-y flush of color, but that hard-earned color will attach to the first glass you drink from. It's too expensive for this. If you use it as a chapstick or to gloss and sheer down a more pigmented lipstick, that's probably what it's best for.

Comments about Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Treatment:

I had hoped that this would be *the* red lipstick that I could wear, not too bold, but something that would look flattering. The reviews had indicated that the red you desire could be achieved depending on how many layers you applied. That would be great, except I didn't notice much of a difference from the first layer to the third one, or beyond.

I didn't want to go for a bold, matte red lipstick, so this seemed like it would be ideal. It's not a bad red, but it's not that noticeable, either. Maybe my lips just absorb the color too much.
