Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse:

I've tried quite a few self tanning products and I have to say that I really really like this one! The application process is pretty simple, but you need to make sure that you have time set aside to do it. If you rush through the process, you might not get an even tan. The color with this is beautiful - not orangey at all and actually very accurate to what I look like If I've been out in in the sun (I'm fair skinned).

My only complaint (not even a complaint really) is that it would be nice to have it even a bit more dark. I probably can achieve that affect by applying two days in a row or twice within a week (which I will try).

I've been reading reviews on lots of different self tanners and some products that worked well for me really didn't work well for others (and vice versa). I think the key is finding the right product for your skin tone and application process. I would HIGHLY recommend at least trying this product because it worked really well for me. But, because everyone has different skin, it might not do the same for you. It's just the gamble of trying out self tanners in general.

I'm blonde with light skin and this product tanned well and didn't stain my hair or eyebrows. It can stain your under garments a bit if you wear anything tight after you apply so just be mindful of that when you choose what you'll wear. No staining after you rinse off 8 hours after application.

      Cheers!

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse:

I have used a bunch of different tanning products including the salon spray tan called "mystic tan", and this is by far the best one. I have very dry skin mostly and as someone mentioned about the circles that she saw on her stomach, those can be mostly prevented by applying St Tropez's moisturizer (I think it's called prep and maintain) before you apply the tan. It made a huge difference. And exfoliate!!! My results were best when I started skin brushing. This fades very even IF you take care of your tan as directed on the bottle. You NEED to keep exfoliating a few times a week and moisturize at least once a day!!!!!! Morning and night is even better. I got lazy a couple of times and it turned out uneven and blochy. I have never seen such an easy tan to apply, you literally smooth it on and it doesn't have to be perfect as long as you don't miss anything. You can go over spots just to make sure. No need to blend it out a whole bunch. And you don't need to use a bunch of product. People are talking about the green color, this is the GUIDE color. It does come off on sheets and stuff so just wear long sleeves and pants to bed or if you are tanning during the day, wear it till your shower. And it's supposed to be green! It's better than a potentially uneven and/or orange tan. It also smells like fake tan but it really is worth the results. When the tan dries, it looks like it's streaky and might freak you out that you did it wrong, but wash it off after 6 to 8 hours, then it's perfect! They even have tips on their site to make stretch marks less noticeable, and other tips. I also shave a few times during the week and it doesn't take the tan off in streaks. This stuff has boosted my confidence so much. Sorry for the preaching but I firmly believe that if this is used properly, it could change the way you feel about yourself.

Highly recommend the mousse with the hand mitten for application. Goes on easy and lasts. Also fades easy nor streaky. Let it sit for 8 hours before showering. I usually apply before bedtime and rinse in the morning.

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse:

I've used other self tanner products before and they tend to be smelly, sticky and leave me orangish. This product is far better. It's nice that you can see it go on so you don't leave lines, it smells but not nearly as bad as other products and its more true to a tan tone. There are a few draw backs... My sheets were ruined the first time I tried it. Lay on a towel or use old sheets when using this. It,along with all self tanners I've come across, are not really build able. You put it on, get color, exfoliate and you start getting inconsistencies. So to add more color after you are making those inconsistencies much more obvious. But I will say that you have to apply other products multiple times to get color i which the same thing happens. At least with this you get a considerable amount of color from one application. Also the price is steep so I will only use it for nights out but over all I'd say it's worth it.

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse:

I own a Tanning salon, we do spray tans ect, but I do not use my booth right now as I am pregnant so I decided this was the perfect time for me to try out all the self tanners possible and see why people choose them over the booth and let me tell you this one was by far the WORST! smell was fine, the application process wasn't a dream, the mitt that I bought to go with this kept coming off as the product was more thick and sticky and kept pulling it off. it was sticky for HOURS! it also STAINED MY TOILET! I would never recommend someone purchase this unless you are unfamiliar on what a good self tanner should be like. I LOVE fake and bake it was such a fast, easy application, smelled great and you can easily put on more coats without a problem!, I recommend it to some of the customers that can't keep up their spray tan as often. btw..don't waste your money on million dollar tan either I was so excited about it and it was a joke I applied 3 coats and it didn't show up except to very try areas..imagine that..anyways hope this helps someone out and save some money before you blow it on junk!

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse:

I have used quite a bit of self tanners, and this is the one I always come back to! It has almost a green brown application when you first put it on and then it dries to a nice olive tan skin color which I love. It's not orange like others that I tried. I use latex rubber gloves to apply it so I don't stain my hands and it is very easy to apply.

Pretty color, dries fast, no streaks or orange, when the color does start to fade away it doesn't rub off like some other tanners, it just gradually fades lighter.

                      A:

Results last up to a week.

                      How to Use-
Exfoliate with St. Tropez Body Polish the day before you tan. Moisturize any dry areas (elbows, knees, ankles, and feet) thoroughly with St. Tropez Body Moisturizer. Protect light areas at eyebrow and hairline with extra moisturizer. Pump the velvety mousse into a mitt and smooth from top to toe, making sure you're well covered. Wait until touch dry before dressing. Avoid getting wet or exercise for at least four hours, leave on for eight hours or more for best results.

Precautions: St. Tropez recommends a patch test is carried out at least 24 hours prior to use. If there are any adverse reactions do not continue to use. Don't apply to broken, irritated or sensitive skin and stop using if your skin becomes irritated.

Sun Safety Warning: This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn.
