Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I purchased this because the Ulta store in my area was sold out of the brand I usually buy. I saw a commercial for this and decided to try. My hair has become very damaaged from attempting to go blonde over the summer- as well as pool, beach, humidity, etc. The dry oil in this brand works wonders; however, I haven't seen much help from this treatment alone. It smells great and has a great texture, though. Some products don't work for everyone..

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

When it comes to my hair, I usually stick to the more "professional" brands. I received this as a free gift when I attended an event sponsored by L'oreal. I have long blonde hair, which can always use extra moisture. I use this in the shower and let it set while I shave my legs, etc, then rinse out, go to bed with my hair wet... and wake up practically ready to go out the door since i have a naturally beachy wave to my hair. I was very surprised by the shine it added and that it did not make my scalp feel greasy/dirty like some other deep conditioners.

I've been on the search for a product that doesn't weigh my hair down or feel dirty with that build-up feeling. This product is amazing!. My hair hasn't felt this soft and healthy in so long!. I can't say enough about it!!!! I even tried products that were over 20 and 30 dollars....but, this works so much better!

I have natural curly fro'd hair. I color it regularly and this conditioner helps my hair from feeling brittle and dry. This is a great product for African American females, both natural and relaxed. I have had healthier, shiner, and smoother hair since using this product for the last 8 weeks. I use it mainly as a co-wash because it is extremely rich an creamy. Great value and great product.

It's okay. Nothing extraordinary. It is effective at conditioning your hair. But don't expect miracles. I bought it because of the hypes and raving reviews. But it has not outperformed my other deep conditioners. Overall, it does it jobs, but nothing special.

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I really wish this would've worked out, even if only a little, instead of wasting my money and ruining my hair. Putting this into my hair was like putting VASELINE or GLUE onto it. And it wouldn't wash out. It took WEEKS before it finally washed completely out. It made my hair drier than before, brittle, sticky, tangled, and utterly unmanageable. I will never buy this or similar products again and would never recommend to anyone.

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I first tried this product as a sample. I was so impressed with it that I purchased some at Ulta on my next visit. The pro of a store like Ulta, is they sell SO MANY products, but that is also the con. Sometimes it is difficult to wade through the many offerings. And although you can return a product, if not satisfied, the trial and error is just a hassle. This treatment works! I have coarse hair that I relax (I am African-American) and I find this works as well as conditioners that cost triple and often require more time. And, at the price, it is worth a try…instead of suffering through a $25 dollar bottle of the latest fad treatment.

Comments about L'Oréal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm:

I've been using this product together with the shampoo, conditioner and the dry oil. It is by far the best product for my hair. I've always had long, fine hair and lots of it and it gets tangled really quick. But since I've used these products I haven't had a single hard to comb moment.
My husband was the one who told me about the product, so it works perfectly for men as well.
