Comments about L'Oreal Smooth Intense Xtreme Straight Creme:
Ok so I have 2B-Wavy Curvy type hair. It's rather wavy/slightly curly, tends to frizz and be a little difficult to manipulate straight. When I blow it out, I like to just blow dry using a paddle brush on my bottom layers and a round brush on the top and the end look be a smooth blow out with no frizz and no use of my flat iron.
I bought this because I was looking for a smoothing/straightening cream and since I have tried other products from the new L'Oreal Lines and LOVED them, I thought this would be great, plus reviews said it was AWESOME. They LIED. This DID NOT help, let me repeat DID NOT help. With this product I ALWAYS have to use my flat iron to "smooth" out my hair completely, which to me defeats the purpose of this product. I've used other smoothing products and didn't have use my flat iron so I know it can be done.
I should of known something was wrong when I put it in my damp hair the first day and kinda let my hair air dry a bit, so I wouldn't have to use so much heat, and my hair started to curl like I had put nothing in it. However, I blow dried as normal and horrible results. My hair was NOT smooth! It was a poofy, frizzy mess. Plus throughout the day my hair got poofier and frizzier.
I tried to work with the product and make it work. I used more, I used less, I tried to not let my hair air dry as much, I tried using it with my hair oil and it just didn't work. However, I did find that if I put it in my damp hair and let it air dry it does make my waves/curls smoother and helps with the frizz with no crunchy feel. So at least it was not a complete waste!
Pros:
Smells great
Built in Heat Protectant
Lightweight
Does help with frizz if you don't use heat
Doesn't feel greasy
Doesn't weigh hair down
Can't really use too much
Cons:
Does NOT help with Smoothing or Straightening
Does NOT keep hair Smooth or Straight
When used with heat tends to make hair frizzier
Recommend this for:
If you already have straight hair or hair that has very little to no curl.
Comments about L'Oreal Smooth Intense Xtreme Straight Creme:
I used this product the first time today. I never write reviews but I am so impressed and excited about this product I had to say great job to Loreal! I've been looking for this quality for a long time and I have tried many, many products with price as a minimal concern. My hair felt sleek, soft, shiny and conditioned. It styled easier than normal. And I am so happy with the results; a good hair day with very humid conditions outside (that NEVER happens.) The price is excellent and I love that I can buy it at the grocery or drug store. Thank you Loreal!

This product smooths my hair and makes it easier to straighten. It also offers heat protection and smells great. I love that it does not weigh down my hair or make it feel sticky like other products. I do not feel any build up after using this product. I really like it.

Comments about L'Oreal Smooth Intense Xtreme Straight Creme:
Need to play around with amount needed because the first time I used it it made my hair nice and smooth but too flat. So I used less the second time and more successful
Comments about L'Oreal Smooth Intense Xtreme Straight Creme:
My hair is very curly and can be frizzy. This crème left my hair shiny, smooth and pin straight. I used this product after washing with Loreal's Smooth Intense Polishing Shampoo & Conditioner. After blow drying my hair, I flat iron any unruly ends. The Smooth Intense Xtreme Straight Crème protected my strands against the heat of the flat iron, while leaving them straight and shiny! I would highly recommend not only this crème, but also the Smooth Polishing Shampoo & Conditioner. I look forward to many more frizz free hair days thanks to Loreal!

I just have to say L'Oreal has gone above and beyond with their new hair products!!! I absolutely LOVE the smooth intense line. The xtreme straight creme leaves my hair silky smooth and radiant!!! Thank you L'Oreal for making a product that I'm so impressed with, that I'll actually take the time to sit down and write a post on it to personally thank you. If anyone out there has naturally curly hair and has trouble straightening, GO BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!
