I have vey fine straight hair and not that much of it. Thus, these are the perfect interlocking combs for an up-do hair style. I start holding the hair at the temples and going upward, once I reach the crown of my head I turn my hands around and lock them into place. If you want to wear your hair down, these combs create the ilussion of more hair and body if you wear them up as described above for a couple of hours then take them off and you are good to go. They would be perfect if each tooth instead of a smooth surface had raised little dots spaced evenly to perfect the locking system. Great buy.

I love having a million ways to put my hair up. So, this seemed like a good one - except it not optimal for thick hair. The get vey hard to insert.

I use this product to hold my hair up. I have long hair and love to wear it up, especially in the Summer. They hold it securely and it stays exactly like I styled it until I take it down. I used a similar product many years ago and then was unable to find it. Lockettes are stronger than the product I used before. I love them.

Not the best product I have ever bought.
Seems to weak to hold hair in your desired style.
One of the teeth broke off the first time I used it.
