Comments about Mia Brown Bend-A-Bun:

Love love love this product! Makes it so easy to achieve a polished look quickly and easily. Can even use on shorter hair to get a nice full ballerina bun. The only con is that the button is hot glued on, and the amount of use it gets I can see it coming right off pretty quickly.

Difficult for thick hair. My hair was too thick and didn't wrap all the way around to create a bun look.

      Comments about Mia Brown Bend-A-Bun:

Would not securely snap into place. I tried it on my long hair which is fine but medium thickness and in my mom's hair which is medium length and thin. After rolling our hair up with the bend-a-bun I "snapped" the ends together and our hair would simply tumble down. Does not work.

          Love it!

          Comments about Mia Brown Bend-A-Bun:

This works so well! I used it immediately after buying to tame my frizzy hair and it was so easy that I did it in the car in about 30 seconds. I have another bun maker that I love, but this one works so much better with my long, thin hair. My only complaint was that it didn't quite make a complete circle. I am excited to use this again!

                Comments about Mia Brown Bend-A-Bun:

This might have worked better for someone with not as thick hair…I thought thick hair would work well to cover the product, but I was wrong. The wire device didn't make a complete circle…more like a U shape. It also didn't stay in and tight like a neat bun should look like. Very disappointed.

                          Comments about Mia Brown Bend-A-Bun:

This thing is amazing. I am in the Army and have to wear my hair in a bun every single day. I cannot believe that I have just now discovered this little beauty tool. There are a few tricks to it, however, if you want to get a sleek, smooth bun...firstly, it helps to put a bit of product (some sort of styling cream, gel, or mousse) into your hair before using the bun maker. Adding product gives your hair that bit of texture and stick that you need to keep everything in place. Secondly, it very much helps to do this on hair that is at least damp. I have layers and cannot imagine trying to get this to work on dry hair. Thirdly, once you roll the bun maker down towards your head, you have to smooth the hair downward to spread it evenly over the bunmaker. Give your hair a blast of hairspray before you try to shape it, and it will keep the hair intact while you manipulate it into that perfect shape. This will help to create the donut shape and avoid the 'u-shape' that some other reviewers referred to. There are videos on youtube that are really helpful in showing how to use this tool properly. Use a few bobby pins to tuck in the stragglers, and you will have a beautiful, full, ballerina bun that looks amazing and stays all day. I have literally had soldiers stop me to compliment me on my perfect bun and inquire as to how I did it!
