This product was terrible--the color does not go with everything. It does not go on smooth nor does it stay on. I have ordered Tarte products before and have been extremely satisfied--I can not say that for this one--it is awful! And so is ULTA's return policy!

After reading some reviews I decided to give this a try in hopes that it would help my lipstick last longer and work with all the shades of lip colors I currently own (a LOT). I am very pleased with how it has performed so far. I have had no feathering or traveling of lip stick and especially of glosses since I started using this pencil. It provides a smooth neutral/pinky base that doesn't change the look of color of the day ad does significanly extend the wear of my lip color. Over all I am extreamly satisfied.

I'm medium skin tone (I wear the Light-Medium shade in the Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer), and I have fairly pigmented lips. This lipliner was way too pale on me. Didn't fit me at all! Contrary to its name, this is not a universal shade. I would highly recommend trying this on in-person before purchasing.

Did not care for the color of this lip pencil. Not really a universal, natural color. I should have known not to purchase a "one color fits all" type lip product. Bought online, so didn't realize the color was so pink. Did not like the texture of it either - kinda crayon like. The brush on the end was of no use.

I've been using this under lip butters and glosses. I like how neutral the color is but wish it was more matte than the shimmer it has. It feels like most other lip liners but doesn't seem to last very long. I think a more pink color option would be good as well.

Perfect lip liner goes on pretty smoothly and has a bit of staying power. I love that I can put any lipstick or gloss on top and have it blend well. I haven't really used the brush on the other end, but I am sure it can be handy!

I was a little skeptical when I purchased this lip liner because it looked so very light compared to the color of lipstick I was buying, it certainly did not look like it would match the Tarte Glamazon lipstick in graceful but it does! Not only does it match perfectly but it's creamy and smooth and applies beautifully. It wears very long, I wore it to a show, ate a light meal and drank a smoothie, and more than 6 hours later it still didn't need a touch up. I highly recommend this liner and I will be buying it again.
