I put on a little bit of this before applying my makeup for prom- a little bit goes such a long way! My foundation didn't budge all night, and I got compliments on my skin. The most impressive part: I didn't get very oily (and I'm especially oily), my makeup held up through TONS of dancing, and it smoothed over any rough or dry spots. I have combination skin, and since starting Epiduo, dry spots became drier for me. So I was very impressed with this. The travel size seems like it will last a while, and when it runs out, I might buy the full size.

I use it after applying moiturizer and before applying foundation layer for the best results. I like the matte look and smoothness. Moisturizer must be applied because the product is a bit dry.

I desperately needed a foundation primer and thought i'd try this Smashbox primer. Travel size is perfect to have a full trial of a product without committing to the full size. I love how easy it goes on and has almost a oily texture but goes on smooth. I noticed the difference of how my makeup looks when I use primer. This is a must have if you wear a good amount of makeup and want it to last all day. I love for my skin to look almost perfect sorta like a doll and i get compliments on my skin all the time :)

This product does not do it for me like the basic Smashbox clear foundation primer, which I love. This one has a very thin consistency & does not provide me with that velvety feel & finish of the basic primer. I may take it back & exchange for the basic. Perhaps the Dermaxyl Complex is the reason for the thin consistency, I don't know. To me, it's just not up to the usual Smashbox standard. Skin: 60, no wrinkles, light to medium freckles, dryer skin, fair color skin, redhead.

Though it's more expensive than other similar products, I'm hooked on this one after trying the travel size. It helps create a smooth, 'flawless' look and the SPF 20 is a big plus! I think it's worth the price.

I use this product every day. I apply a light moisturizer and then apply this to my face before applying my powder foundation. I have sensitive skin and my skin hasn't broken out. I love this product, but it is kind of pricey.
