I've been waiting for a product to come out that will help with the look of my eyes and also my eyelashes. I've worn mascara for a very long time and also tend to rub my eyes a lot, so my eyelashes are now thin and fragile. Due to all the eye rubbing, I've developed a lot of fine line wrinkles under my eyes and on my eyelids.
So when this came out, I was eager to try it. I've been using it for close to 2 weeks and the skin around my eyes has become a lot softer and a lot more smoother. I don't think this eye cream is meant for dark circles or puffiness. I experience a little bit of both and haven't seen too much of an improvement with that, but I'm okay. My eyes do look a lot less tired.
I've only used mascara once in the past 2 weeks to really let the formula sink in on my eyelashes. I have noticed slightly that my eyelashes are stronger and longer looking. They are falling out a lot less and they looked really nice the day I did wear mascara. The only thing is is that my eyelashes are not thicker, darker, or fuller. The mascara wand does need a lot of work. It's very hard and sharp. The first day I went to apply it, I jumped back when it touched my eye because it was pretty sharp. It was only on the very first day, but I don't think it should be like that.
Also, you may end up with a little bit of flakiness on your eyelashes when you wake up the next morning, but it's nothing to worry about. You just wash your face and reapply again.
Other than the wand, it's a great buy. I scored another good deal on this today and bought a second box. If you're looking for an inexpensive solution, this is it.
