I was very surprised that this lasted for 10 days on me! I have a very hard time keeping on nail polish & use my hands harshly every day... I am bad to not use gloves in dishwater or the garden, so I didn't expect any sort of nail polish to stay on-- this did! And it looked fresh & perfect for the 1st 7 days. It only began to peel on day 8.

I have brittle nails and at the same time I have very sensitive skin towards UV rays. I had used the lamp twice and that 2nd time, I rushed to buy the UV blocking gloves (blocks 99 percent of the harmful rays) And they work like a charm

Since I have a lot of allergies, going to get a manicure/pedicure ends up being a nightmare of hives afterwards. I had just heard of gel polish and went straight to Ulta to see what it was about. I got the kit that had the sheer pink in it.

Got it home, followed the directions and about 30 min later, (during application I watched a saved TV show) I was done. Then, in my infinite wisdom, decided to go take the backhoe and bucket off the tractor. I should mention I am a country girl and mom of 5 boys. I was impressed. Not a chip, or ding and still shiny, even through all the grease!

I did my feet later in the week and it's still going strong. All others would have started to peel by now. Especially since I am a flip-flop/barefoot kind of girl so my feet get dirty, which requires a hefty scrub in the tub.

There are a couple of cons though. If you get it even slightly on your skin or cuticle (mine won't stay back), it does make it peel up faster. Taking it off is a pain, literally. 30 min (15 each hand) of walking around with tinfoil wrapped around your fingers and if the acetone dipped cotton touches your skin, it burns like the dickens!

Overall, I am satisfied. I just block out about and hour for removal and reapplication. Good way to catch up on missed TV.

I used this product for the first time yesterday, so my manicure is only 24 hours old. The colour is still perfect, my nails are still shiny and no peeling yet. I have very thin weak nails that tear and chip easily so I was looking for something to protect them while they "might" grow a little longer. So far, so good. I'm a first time user and found the process took approximately one hour and 15 minutes to do both hands. Not bad and I'll most likely become faster with more
experience. I gave the product four out of five as I don't know yet how long my manicure will last.

You have to apply it just right or it comes right off. I wasn't applying a thin enough coat. Hopefully now that I got it right it'll stay on. We'll see.

I just wanted to address a complaint I read in another review...when finished you have to wipe nails with the cleansing pads to remove the sticky/tacky residue and it removes the shine. Yes, it does remove the shine, INITIALLY, but the shine DOES come back! I did my nails about 4 hours ago, first time using this product and first time doing a gel manicure (never had them done at a salon). I'm not a professional nor do I paint my nails on a regular basis, but this was so easy! You MUST prepare your nails correctly, just follow the directions. The cleansing pads are soaked in 99% isopropyl alcohol. I thought maybe the pads themselves were too textured/rough so I decided to try 70% isopropyl alcohol (which I have a bottle of) and dripped it on my nails, rubbed lightly with my finger, then rinsed. The finish still turned an ugly matte, not shiny at all, but the shine returned about 15 mins. later and now (4 hours later) they are very shiny again! I love that they are instantly dry and am sure it will last at least 10 days. Others complained about it not lasting but I have a feeling it's due to "user error" :)

Love everything about the product but the color.
the light pink color looks great for like a day then it turns an ugly cream beige color it was gross other than that the other colors ive tried were fantastic

I purchased this having never gotten a gel manicure before. I am quite pleased with the ease of the application and the color of the polish! I only wish they had more colors to choose from...especially for spring/summer.

Peels off too easy, the top coat felt kind of gross, like getting adhesive on your nails. My OPI nailpolish lasts longer than this, and didn't chip as fast.
