Regular dryers can take 30 minutes to dry hair, using a hurricane-like airflow that causes damage, frizz and flyaways. T3 Tourmaline: The Secret to Healthy Drying
Tourmaline is known as the "electric stone" because when heated, it emits negative ions and healthy infrared heat. Negative ions speed up drying by breaking water droplets into smaller molecules that are absorbed into the cuticle, retaining healthy moisture. At the same time, they cancel static and seal the cuticle, reducing frizz and enhancing shine.

While I love how my dry time is cut by 10-12 minutes I'm not totally sure it was worth the 2x price of other hair dryers. It was also heavier than I was expecting (weight came from the cord). Also, I didn't see the additional shine when used with the round brush as it advertised. If you can get it on sale or with a coupon, definitely worth it...full price, not so much.

I hate drying my hair 'cause it takes forever and I have to be at work really early- this literally cuts my drying one down to a third of what it was, and my hair looks great all day- don't have to spend endless time with the hairbrush, drying each section for what feels like forever. Glad I but the bullet and put down the money!

As noted in my pros and cons lists (I have no cons) above this is an excellent hair dryer. I have very thick hair and I can now dry my hair in 10 minutes. Perfect! I love the softAire technology. At first I thought, "this dryer doesn't blow hard enough" but truly that is one of the amazing things about this technology and dryer- it doesn't need to to get the job done. And, because it doesn't blow so hard it doesn't frizz your hair out. You'll be left with sleek, shiny, smooth hair. What could be better?!?!

I have long, color-treated hair and was getting very dry ends and a lot of breakage even though I was only blow drying my hair about 3x/week. I decided to invest in the T3 Featherweight and I'm so happy I did. My drying time has been reduced a ton, and my hair is silky and smooth even when I don't use a round brush. I have received more compliments on my hair and how shiny and healthy it looks. I was hesitant about the price, but not anymore..totally worth it!!

I have had three T3s. The original featherweight..and two veloces. All three did give me comparably better results than most "regular" priced dryers. My hair was softer . But considering the fact that they have all broken down on me within a year?? The featherweight burned out. So did the Veloce and then it was replaced six months later for the same thing...only for that replacement to break after 9 months..(one of the fans inside came apart so when its turned on the pieces bounce around inside and make a horrible noise!). I can't help to think it is cheaply made and that's why they are so "featherweight". As much as I loved the T3 line, I can't afford to keep buying them and replacing once a year for defects. At these prices these things should LAST. I'm sorry going to the Sedu.

The first couple times I used this my hair seemed very dried out; but for the price I paid I gave it a few more tries and it leaves my hair full of body with no need for hot rollers. Based on reviews I read before I bought it, it is good for smoothing out frizzy hair; but it is winter and the air is dry and it works well on my hair. I am looking forward to even better results when the humidity rises.
