Comments about T3 Featherweight 2 Dryer:

I was hesitant to pay this much for a hair dryer, but the cheap hair dryer I had been using was damaging my hair. I have long, straight, thick hair that was breaking and very dull. I've changed nothing by the hair dryer since using this (same shampoo, conditioner) and my hair has drastically improved. I don't feel that it's drastically improved my dry time, but it has improved the condition of my hair. It is shinier and softer after using this blow dryer. This is easy to use (not too many buttons), and the button placement is good in that my hand doesn't accidentally hit them when I'm using it. The two year warranty is also a plus, as my last "good" dryer only had a one year warranty. I'm hopeful that this dryer will last a long time because so far I have been extremely happy with it.

BB was wonderful, 6 years ago with the original T3 they replaced when heating element went out after 15 months. T3 replaced a second one under warranty no cost. Third t3 heating element went out in less than a year and manufacturer will not replace for no cost. Will purchase from BB again but not a T3.

Comments about T3 Featherweight 2 Dryer:

I have coarse, thick, curly hair and have been blow drying my hair straight for over 10 years.

This is the lightest blow dryer that I have ever used, which helps with arm strain from blow drying my hair straight, but the nozzle has a wide mouth (wider than most dryers) and this does not give the directed heat concentration needed for a sleek hairstyle and straight ends. With the wider nozzle, the air blows to a larger section of hair which will cause flyaways too.

This dryer is good for volume and soft looking hair, but for the price you can definitely find other dryers for less expensive.

Dry time is maybe 5 mins faster.

Comments about T3 Featherweight 2 Dryer:

I am on my third T3 dryer, and due to poor T3 customer service, it is my last. Like previous commenters, the heat element on the dryer went out at approx . 17 months. I do not use the dryer daily. I like how it styles my hair. It was supposed to have a two year warranty. However, when I contacted T3 customer service, I was informed that I had not purchased it from an authorized dealer. I'm wondering how so many dryers are in the hands of unauthorized dealers? Anyway, they got me for a $100 replacement fee plus $14.95 for S & H. When I received the replacement dryer, the concentrator nozzle kept falling off during use. T3 replied that they'd send me a "complimentary" replacement nozzle. I had to keep emailing them, and never could find out when, and if, the nozzle had been mailed. Weeks later, I received it, and could finally use the dryer. I really like the dryer, but for me, the customer service dept. was a drain on my time.

Comments about T3 Featherweight 2 Dryer:

I have long, thick hair. Previously, I had a nice CHI hairdryer that worked well. When it died, I just started using the spare hair dryer that I kept in the guest room. Well, it took SO long to dry my hair that my husband finally got tired of hearing about it and surprised me with this T3 for Christmas. After using a cheap dryer for months, I couldn't believe how quickly this one works, and how much smoother my hair is. It literally cut my drying time in half--from 20 minutes to 10 or less, and my hair looks better.

Comments about T3 Featherweight 2 Dryer:

I was talked into buying this dryer by an Ulta sales person after I returned my blower dryer that I spent $80 on, it went out on me after 3 months. She said it was the greatest blow dryer ever and would last me a long time. Well, here I am 8 months later and already having issues. The speeds will just cut down to the lowest speed and then start smelling like something is burning. I contacted T3 Customer Care and I have to pay for shipping and shipping return. So, I'm out another $30. I haven't shipped it yet so hopefully I will not have any issues and they fix it and return. I would hate to throw away a $200 dryer. I am back to using my $30 Revlon dryer that I've had for 3 years (and seems to work better). Save your money and buy cheap...at least if it breaks you are not out that much money.

Comments about T3 Featherweight 2 Dryer:

I always wanted an "upscale" hair dryer. I have thick hair and wanted a dryer that would dry my hair quicker and smoother. I tried this dryer out for a week hoping that the results I was looking for would happen. It did not dry faster, it made my hair flatter. My $30 hair dryer did a much better overall job when drying/styling my hair. I ended up taking it back. I was very disappointed. Maybe I was expecting miracles? It was however light weight, but did not feel hot.

This is a very expensive dryer with REALLY BAD QUALITY! I am on my 3rd one in just over 4 years, the first 2 stopped working at around 16 to 18 months of use. The 3rd one broke in just a year, i did have hopes that it had been redesigned with a bit more quality but NOPE, the quality is WORSE. Now you would think i was using it professionally, but NO, i have very fine thin hair and can completely dry and style my hair from completely wet in around 5 minutes. If you like throwing your money in the trash then this is the unit for you!!!! I am back to drying my hair with my 15 year old travel hair dryer i bought at Walmart for $14.99. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Unlike the Featherweight 2, Featherweight Luxe 2i features a built-in ion generator, making it ideal for thick, coarse hair types and textures.
