Could not get to work, i put in heat pretectant spray and then did it the spray then somehow got glued to the barrel making it drag my hair and not being able to return this piece of .. i never use it worst waste of money of my life! my friends all said that they love curling wands but i guess they got a better one cause i hate it!

This wand REALLY curled!! My hair was toooo curly. Lol. I am a little worried about the damage it's doing to my hair since its not ceramic. I can't decide if a wand is better than a regular curling iron.

I was looking for an updated curling iron or an updated version of a hairstyle with curls. This product seems to be made of good professional quality materials, yet it is SO difficult to USE! It heats up great, professionally - has different settings according to hair which I liked so we don't go and burn our hair off, it comes with the glove which I would recommend inexperienced users like myself to use, can very easily burn yourself with this iron. Also, it doesn't take long for the heat to curl (again, quick and fast heating) so that is important to know. However, I am disappointed in it because it has a tendecy (if you dont know what you are doing when wrapping your hair around the barrel the right way) to make an odd or weird (unflattering) curl! I have found that many times if I am in a rush I will use my old traditional style curling iron because I don't have time to "practice" with this curling iron. I have a feeling that it takes practice and once you get it down the curls are beautiful and lasting! I plan on practicing with mine to achieve the look I am going for.

My natural hair is very long, thick, and pin straight. I've tried curling it a million times and it never, ever worked. I tried a curling iron, a straightener, and even rollers. No matter what I did, the curl would never hold.

I'd heard from many people before that I should try a curling wand, so I tried one of my friends. The barrel on hers was smaller, so the curls it produced were tighter. I liked the way my hair looked after using it, but it didn't seem to look the way wanted it to.

As a last attempt to find something that would work for my hair, I bought this product and it is absolutely perfect! I've never been so pleased with a hair product before. I expected it to take at least an hour to curl all of my hair (from past experience) but it only took about 30 minutes. The curls lasted all day and looked perfect. I even slept on it and it looked just as perfect in the morning. I used a little hair spray, but not nearly as much as I've used in the past when I've tried curling my hair.

I have to say that this is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who believes that it is impossible to curl your hair.

Makes great curls, however it takes some practice to use even with the glove to not get burned! It is worth the $$ spent!

This product definitely gave me the curls I've been wanting to achieve. The only downside to it is that the barrel is really slippery. I have naturally straight hair so it gets a little frustrating at times. I would wrap my hair around the barrel but would slide towards the end. Most effective when curling smaller sections.
