Comments about Conair Ombre Infiniti Pro Spin Hot Air Brush:

I read reviews and watched YouTube tutorials on this before I bought it. I've bought other tools like this except they were curling irons, and wasn't impressed with them. Decided to give it a try. When I bought it at the Ulta in Humble, Texas, there were 2 on the shelf and BOTH boxes were chewed up. They didn't have another in the back, so I decided I'd take the less chewed up box. When I got it home to try it, I quickly realized it had been used and returned and had TONS of hair stuck in the bristles. GROSS!!!! Long story short, it was returned and got a new one.

Now........I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE mine!!!! I live in Texas, an extremely humid state, and this tool smoothes my frizzy hair and keeps it smooth all day. I can blow dry it and leave it like that for a casual style, or then curl and tease all over for that extra oomph. I start at the front and just roll it thru my hair all the way to the back with it rotating. One note, it's best to let your hair dry naturally for a while first. I do my makeup while it dries some and then 30 min later, I spray some blow out/heat protectant in it, and then start drying. If you do it freshly towel dried, it's doable, but just takes longer.

Buy it, you won't regret it. Has saved me SO much time. I'm not coordinated enough to do the whole large round brush and blow dryer process. This does an even better job without cramping arms and hands. Sometimes I do cup my hand over the brush to make sure the hair stays in the brush. The volume it gives is AWESOME!

Comments about Conair Ombre Infiniti Pro Spin Hot Air Brush:

I have a lot of thick, wavy, shoulder-length coarse hair. It's practically a workout just to blow dry my hair with a round brush and blow dryer. (Not kidding.) So, I decided to give this a try. Yes, this takes a little longer. Yes, it takes a bit to get used to the buttons. But I love this tool!!!

I section my hair, sit on the couch, and blow dry my hair without even a mirror. I multi-task while doing it, so it's actually a time-saver. My hair never gets tangled. I get a ton of volume because I can dry right next to the root. I still run a flat iron over my hair when I'm done, but that's because of the the texture of my hair and I have to do it regardless of how I dry my hair.

I'm buying one for my sister. Trust me, buy this. You'll love it!!! Give yourself a little time to learn to use it correctly.

I use it every day to try to tame my bangs, and to put a little more curve to the hair around my face. It curls towards my face now instead of flying away. I've never been able to get it to do a huge curl, just waves. I tried another similar one and the controls were to hard to use, you had to try twisting this and that, no clear on and off buttons.

I love this thing. I have long layered hair and I blow dry it to 85-90% dry and then use this to finish drying and style. Totally replaces the need to round brush my hair while drying so it lows me to be a bit lazy. My hair looks salon finished though. Besides the Beachwaver, this is my other must have tool.

                    • Q:

How stiff are the bristles? I guess I need strong, almost wirey brush to grab my hair.
I recently purchased the John Freida rotating hot air brush, and after 2 or 3 uses the brushes were mangled. I do use some pressure trying to get my hair 'in' the brush part, even with tiny sections of hair. Otherwise it would wouldn't grab it and sits on the outside of the brush... not close enough to heat and not going around like it's supposed to.

The bristles on the Ombre Spin Hot Air Brush are very similar to the John Frieda Hot Air Brush. To prevent tangling, make sure hair is fully combed before using the hot air brush. We also recommend using the hot air brush on damp hair for best results.

If you are looking for a product to create loose curls/waves, try using Conair's You Big Waves Conical Wand (Ulta SKU #2265174). This conical wand comes with 2 interchangeable barrels, so you can create loose waves or curls.

                        - Unplug the appliance and let cool completely before cleaning it.
                        - Use a damp cloth then clean carefully.
                        - Make sure the appliance is completely dry before using again.
                        - The rear filter should be cleaned using a soft brush on a regular basis to help prevent buildup and overheating. This will also prolong the motor life.

The Infiniti Pro Spin Hot Air Brush is designed to style, shape and add volume and shine to hair. If you are looking to straighten your hair, we recommend using a flat iron. For example, we recommend the Conair Rainbow Titanium Flat Iron (Ulta Sku #2280881) to straighten hair. This flat iron is Ulta Exclusive and designed to give you 89% straighter results for less frizz. The titanium plates offer superior heat conductivity for fast, silky straight results.

The Spin Hot Air Brush is designed to style, shape and add volume and shine to hair. The multi-directional brush rotates in both directions to volumize and shine. The amount of volume that is created from the hot air brush depends on your hair type and the way the hair is styled using the brush. Since the barrel has a larger size (2"), it will not create as much volume and lift as the smaller barreled hot air brushes.

When cleaning is needed, unplug the cord, allow to cool and clean dust and lint from air intake openings with a small brush or the brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner. The outer surface of the hot air styler should be wiped clean with a cloth only. To turn the heat of the unit down, try using the low setting on the hot air brush or the cool setting for cool air.
