These uber-wearable shades look great on literally EVERYONE. Wear them on their own for beautifully neutral eyes - you've got everything you need to contour, line and highlight to create just the right amount of definition. These shades are richer than other mattes, and the color goes on beautifully (never chalky or powdery). There's also one demi-matte shade, Venus, which has just the right touch of satin to give your eyes more dimension.
For a more bold look, use Naked Basics as base shades to pair with your favorite bright shadow shades. UD co-founder Wende loves to use this palette to contour and define her eyes and then add a bright pop of color for extra drama.
Each Eyeshadow features Urban Decay's brand new Pigment Infusion System, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability. The sleek metallic case is embossed with the word Naked and will look beautiful coming out of your bag. If you've been holding out for a matte neutral palette, now's the time to get Naked!
Shade Descriptions: 6 Eyeshadows - NEW SHADES: Venus (soft, off-white demi-matte), Naked2 (rosy taupe matte), Faint (warm, dusty brown matte) and Crave (deepest, darkest brown/black matte). BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: Foxy (cream bisque matte). STAFF FAVORITE: Walk of Shame (very light pinky nude matte).

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Basics:
I am very fair. I had to put a lot of the lighter colors to see them. I needed very little shadow for the darker colors.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Basics:
This was my first purchase from Urban Decay. To sum it up - I am, without a doubt, buying from Urban Decay again.
The Naked Basics Palette comes with six total colors, five of which are matte. (Foxy, Walk Of Shame*Or WOS*, Naked 2, Faint, and Crave.) One of which is more shimmery, perfect for a highlight color. (Venus)
One thing I love about this product - not only is it cruelty-free, it is also very multi-purpose. You can use naked 2 as a brow powder, and you can use faint and crave as eyeliner. These shadows are very pigmented, silky, and high quality. They last a very, very long time, especially when you apply a primer beforehand. I could create over ten looks with this palette - it is a must have for a beginner.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Basics:
This is great! All of the colors are beautiful. I love that they are matte(with the exception of Venus, which is a beautiful frosty highlight). The colors are amazing for adding depth and dimension to the eyes. This palette creates a beautiful eye look on its own but could also be used to supplement other palettes & shadows. This is a must have and is worth the money. I do think that only Foxy or WOS was necessary. They are different but pretty close. My only other complaint is that the shadows are slightly powdery. Though, I experience no fallout when I tap any excess off.
