I use this product as a styler and have been using the DevaCurl product line since 2010. I think these products work best when used as a system. I love the the Gel is light has a light smell like candy but doesn't linger and it is water soluble. DevaCurl gives great hold will dry with a light crunch but can easily be scrunched out and your left with soft bouncy curls. This is a must have product for me.

I use the product when I feel like having a "curly hair day". I have wavy hair, and this product helps boost my natural hair beauty! It is a process, though. I wash my hair with the "nopoo" and then use the conditioner. I keep a wide tooth comb in the shower and comb in the conditioner, then I kind of scrunch my hair and let it sit for a few mintues and rinse. I towel dry my hair and get out all the drips. Then, I use another wide tooth comb to brush it out. And now it's scruch time. I scrunch it up before I put the deva gel in. Then, I use a moderate amount of the gel and get it really gooped up. Then, I difuse it. It leaves really nice looking curls. I did notice, if I don't use the right amount of gel, my hair gets frizzy throughout the day, so make sure you use enough.

did not enhance curl as much as I thought it would. Seemed to keep the very ends straight when they usually naturally curl under.

This is hands-down my favorite hair gel yet. As long as you apply it evenly, you get good results, lots of definition, and it holds pretty much all day even if you mess with your hair a lot. It does dry kind of crunchy, so I let it dry and then scrunch my hair to break up the crunch on the curls. Once you do that, you still have definition but your hair is much softer.

This is my go to gel. Won't use anything else. Great hold. Once hair dries, I just break the cast and am good to go. Love DevaCurl products but this one is extra terrific.

Works well. Dries crunchy but scrunches out. Frizz is controlled if you style it how you want then keep your hands off until it is completely dry. Works nicely after Deva Curl B'Leav-in
