I bought this specifically for my Urban Decay pencils. I have used a cheap drugstore brand in the past that worked much better. This one would not smoothly cut once sharpened.It was if I had to back up the pencil before I could pull it out.

I had a pencil sharpener and that kept me from purchasing this one but once I did I threw my old sharpener away .

It fills up so quickly, but it does make your 24/7 pencils last longer than a less expensive sharpener.

Looked several places for a sharpener for a large lip pencil and found this one at Ulta, best of both worlds with the small and larger sharpener. Easy to use and clean.

I tried using other sharpeners with my UD eyeliner and they just didn't work. Apparently, you HAVE to use their sharpener with their products. That being said, it does a nice job of sharpening UD eyeliner pencils. The shavings are stored in the lid, which is neat.
