We were desperate but didn't have high expectations - tried OTC NIT which left live bugs and nits 24 hours later despite hours of combing and following instructions. This product saved my sanity! The comb it comes with is awesome - long metal teeth very close together which worked 100x better than the plastic nit comb we'd been using. Still a lot of manual labor (applying cream and combing and combing), but it was so much easier and more effective than the OTC stuff and oil treatments we'd used. Removed 90% of nits (the rest we cut out), smells pleasant and not full of chemicals. And there's enough product for at least 2 treatments on shoulder-length curly hair. This is good stuff, even if a little pricey!

This kit helped us eliminate all the lice and nits in our girls' hair in 4 days, the first application getting rid of 98% of the problem. This wasn't abrasive to out girls' heads, had a pleasant smell, and provided useful information about the issue at hand.
