Spend the extra $$ to get the non-retractable precision brush. The bristles are good and makeup applies great on this one, but the quality of the metal is very flimsy and of poor quality.

This brush really helps to use the bare essentials power wisely. the new compact powder. the brush grabs just enough powder and then it blends it effortlessly in long smooth strokes for a beautiful finish. Love it and love it's size!

this brush is so versatile. When I chose to use liquid I could and it applied evenly. When using powder it did the same. It was easy to get the liquid off the brush when changing to powder.

I use this brush for putting on my foundation. It works great. I like the fact that it is retractable. The brush is made for travel and it fits easily in my purse. A great all around brush.

I own a basic set of brushes, but since I have such dry skin I usually end up making flakes more visible or over applying foundation. After a demo of Ready using the new brush I was sold. I bought the Retractable Ready brush - great for travel and takes up less space in my kit. I had no problem applying the makeup on my own and using the long graceful strokes it does not lift up too many flakes on my face. Just be aware that when you put the brush back in the tube you need to lift up the inner tube before putting the top back on to keep the bristles from fraying.

This brush works well for contouring if you wear quite a bit of makeup, but I don't like using it everyday. The retractable part is sort of loose, but it hasn't broken so I assume that's the way it's supposed to be. Other than that, it is SUPER soft.

I apply the foundation(powder) after my moisturizer. Its light and even when using this brush.
