I have used many exfoliating products, and this one really works without drying out my delicate skin. The particles are also small enough that it does not tear my poor snake like flesh! :D

I wanted a product similar to the "instant manicure" and tried this exfoliant. It feels like a good scrub when I use it but the smooth, clean feeling doesn't last. I added a little olive oil to it and that helps the moisture stick around a bit longer.

I bought this scrub for my hands to use when I DYI manicure. The scrub feels good, but the results are not lasting. The last time I tried adding a little olive oil to my hands before scrubbing and that seemed to work better.

Comments about Hugo Naturals Sea Salt & Sugar Scrub - Sea Fennel & Passionflower:
I normally use salt scrubs exclusively because the sugar scrubs are so greasy but this one wasn't that bad because it's a mix of the two. It did't turn my bathtub into a slippery danger zone. This exfoliated rather well. The directions say to use it in the shower while wet but I prefer to use it dry and then rinse off in the shower. That way you can get the exfoliation process going before the sugar dissolves. It is a little messy since you have to mix the oil and the grit together with your hands before using. That's a downside to sugar vs. salt scrubs. The smell is weird, not necessarily bad, but not something you'd go out and buy a perfume or lotion with the same scent. Maybe the smell is the Sea Fennel? To be honest I have no idea what a sea fennel is. In my experience fennel grows in soil on land and has a licorice flavor, and the seeds are used to flavor sausages. However, the smell doesn't linger on your skin after you rinse it off so it's not a deal breaker. I would recommend this scrub, it's a good price and does it's job like it should. I'd like to try the other varieties of Hugo Naturals scrubs as well.
