I started out using the product a few times a day, because my lips were so bad. Now, I find myself forgetting to use it every day. I used to always reach for Burts Bees because my lips would burn from chapness, now I rarely use it. I love this product and will continue to use it.

Living in the foothills of Colorado, my lips get very dried out and I'm constantly reaching for lip balm to sooth and moisturize them. So, I decided to try this Lip Exfoliant by Tarte. I noticed a difference immediately. While it felt a little like rubbing greasy sand on my lips (!), once I rubbed it in, it was fine. And, the best part was that I realized I wasn't reaching for the lip balm anywhere near as often as I usually did. My lips actually stayed moisturized longer during the day. This is a great product.

I have trouble with applying lipstick only to have it begin peeling and drying out my lips about an hour after applying. It is like when lipstick is added I suddenly have lips that are shedding very dry skin. Maracuja is helping with this problem It is gentle enough that I can use it every day as a part of my makeup

Seeking product to cure chapped lips that persisted in AZ winter dryness. Got exfoliation of dry skin but not healing of chapped lips. Smells great if you like mint, has fine graininess for exfoliation.
Could not use daily because it exfoliates! Had better luck healing dry lips with Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment for a fraction of the cost.

Wanted to love it, but for the price and the lack of results, just can't justify repurchasing. The ULTA saleswoman steered me toward this to deal with my chapped lips. I never get chapped lips...ever..so I needed them gone STAT. She swore up and down that she applied once and it moisturized all day. Well, it feels good going on and I enjoy it..and then 20 minutes later, that goodness fades away. Not exfoliating...moisturize didn't last for me. I have said goodbye to chapped lips these days by exfoliating with my toothbrush gently or rubbing a dry washcloth against them after washing my face..and then using another sugar lip treatment and moisturizing lip tint that is botanicals based. Even though my new choice for lip care costs more, it truly lasts, adds a hint of color and my lips are baby soft again! Pass on this. Tin is cute, but a pain to open and close.

I am currently on accutane so my lips are soooo dry and chapped. The skin comes off constantly and that grosses me out.. so I needed an exfoliatior for my lips. This stuff is pretty good.. makes my lips feel super soft.. the taste isnt bad either.. minty fresh.. i used it on my kids and husband and they liked it as well.. will buy again...

Smells great and goes on really easily. Not messy at all, but I'm not seeing any visible difference in the texture of my lips. I may just need to try using less and start using it more frequently. Overall, good product. Would definitely recommend.

I read great reviews on this product (actually had to wait for it to come in stock), but I expected more exfiolating of the dry skin on lips. I think a home-made formula of equal parts sugar, honey and lemon juice is much for effective, followed by this product or another lip moisturizer.
