i have very soft nails that get brittle, crack and peel. i have always used Ulta's brand of nail board because i have found every other brand is too rough and tears my nails apart.....but lately, this board has gotten REAL cheap. they used to last me 6 months before the paper tore off or got too worn down. now, i need a new one every month because the edges of my nails cause the paper to tear off. i will literally have pieces of the "sand" paper under my nails. i don't know what happened or what changed. i still like this board. it is not too harsh on my nails and it just what i need....i just wish it would last longer like they used to. very disappointed. they don't cost much, so it's not as painful to replace them, but it's still a waste and a hassle. if i wasn't scared of other files/boards tearing my nails to pieces, i'd try to find another one. :/

I was hoping to use this product for finishing my nails- edges for smoothness & buffing/shining nail surface. (I keep nails fairly short, but still want them to look nice.)When the buffing surface of implement peeled off after 2nd use, it became relatively useless. If I had been smart & saved my receipt or the package, I would have returned it.

This product is great to smooth out the ridges in my nails. It's very quick and easy to use. I don't like using a lot of nail polish so this is great to improve the look of my nails without the fuss of polish.

Use the buffing every day on bare nails. Don't use the even out or the more abrasives sides every day or your nails will get weak. Also, if you use it enough the sides will wear out and you can start using a more abrasive side when you want the shining effect so watch out. Very good value for the money.

I got this at the last minute and wish I hadn't. Luckily it was very inexpensive. I should know better.
