The description is deceptive. I thought it was textured glass that would last but an cheap emery board lasts longer. The coating wore off before I even finished filing my nails once. I had to finish my last three nails with an emery board.

The rough part of the file rubs off leaving smooth shiny glass underneath. Lower quality than the cheap paper ones.

I was under the impression this was textured so it'd last. I have very thin nails but the coating only lasted for one use. A cheap emery board lasts longer!

Routine nail filing. Have had only a couple weeks and the surface is wearing off. A thiner surface works better

I only used this product once and the rough surface wore off and I was left with a smooth file. I am very disappointed and would never purchase this product again.

It's been hard to find crystal files that don't have slick spots or that are thin enough to use under the edges of all my nails. This is one of the best I've found without spending a lot and having to order online

I plan to use mainly on fingernails, but maybe occasionally on toenails. Works very well in smoothing out snags.

Nice file with case. I will definitely buy another. I did buy a different brand that was inferior compared to this one and I won't make that mistake again.
