I love the matte shades so much better than the simmer shades. The product doesn't end up on your face and the colors are beautiful. It comes with a booklet to help guide you regarding color placement. Ater awhile I came up with my own combinations. Don't be afraid of the organge color. It's great but don't be heavy handed with the shadows. A little goes a long way.

this product while appeared to be of good quality, the person doing my makeup pushed this product on me instead of the one that i liked. i only liked one color of the group and returned the product, should have never bought it, told the person that i like a natural look and he definitely did not do that for me.

This was my 1st Stila purchase but won't be my last. I bought this instead of the UD Naked Basics palette. This palette has a great variety of matte colors. It's hard to find all matte palettes but I really needed something to balance the many shiny/glittery e/s I have. the Terracotta shade makes my blue eyes really pop. These last all day for me & feel wonderful on. I've not experienced any eye irritation. The Smudge stick was a nice bonus.

I was really happy with the palette since the colors are very neutral but have a variety of shades to play with. I looked at other matte palettes since I only shimmery eye shadows at home. I had my doubts when I first applied it and thought I would have to apply a lot before I can see the color. Wrong. It looked beautifully and I instantly fell in love with it. If you're considering a good neutral palette, I would definitely purchase Stila's In the Know.

This is a great palette, all of the shadows apply evenly and smooth, and are long lasting. The only complant i have is about the eyeliner, it is not soft and applys a bit patchy, though it could just be the one i got as the cap was off of it when i opened the box...

I was not sure these colors would work on my fair skin, but after reading reviews I gave it a go and I'm so glad I did. Stila has some of the best eyeshadows on the market today, and with the palettes you get a lot for your money. Don't forget the eyeliner that it comes with which is also great. Blends easily and lasts all day. Highly recommend! My only suggestion would be another palette with cool toned neutrals because this palette is fairly warm.
