There is definitely a learning curve with this mascara, but once you learn - perfect, separated lashes every time. You can't overload the comb, and you need to do a smooth application from base to tip. But it really does work - WITH PRACTICE. Now that I've been using this product for a couple months, I find it much more precise and neat than a regular mascara brush.

I LOVE mascara and am always interested in trying out a new application style. This particular applicator is sort of like a comb/deodorant hybrid - that is, you have a comb which replaces the standard brush, and twist out the mascara as you would a deodorant or chap stick. Sounds promising? It's not. The mascara comes out in HUGE globs and clumps all over your eye (not just your lashes) due to the amount that comes out. Don't get me wrong, I wear a ton of mascara, apply it on thick, but this doesn't go on thick in a good way. i'm sure after more use, a technique might be perfected but I did not have a good experience with the dispensing method. All in all, an expensive bad experiment.

I'm an enthusiast in wearing mascara AT ALL TIMES. I really cannot leave the house without it on. This mascara really helps in grabbing all of my lashes while separating and making them longer! The bristles work best for your lower lashes. It helps coat each one individually giving you a more defined look.

I thought I would try something new. I wanted a blue mascara and I came across this one. Once I turned the stick, a lot of mascara came out. So it was clumpy and the brush isn't long enough to get the lashes. This is just not a good product. Don't waste your money. Calvin Klein has a blue mascara, but of course Ulta was sold out of it.

A little difficult to apply at first, but great look once I used it a few times. Great dark, black, beautiful long lash line. Takes me a little longer to apply than my usual mascara, but stays in place, no flaking or clumping even on bad allergy days! No problems with my contacts either!

This stuff is great!! It lasts forever and never dries out. It doesn't clump or flake throughout the day and it has made my lashes look healthier. I have used so many different mascaras and this is by far the best.

I'm torn on this one. It's a totally different method of application from "traditional" mascaras. The issue with "traditional" mascaras is that they dry out quickly. This is mainly because the process of inserting and removing the applicator lets air into the mascara itself, and there you have it. This product requires you to twist the bottom to provide the mascara. You don't expose it to additional air and it doesn't dry out.

When the applicator works, it's great - BUT - it has a real tendency to kind of smudge if you don't apply it just right, and the smudges are virtually impossible to get off of wherever they've occurred. It's annoying. I don't know if I just need practice or what - but I'm usually pretty adept and I've had this product for over a week.

Overall, when it applies cleanly, it's a much better mascara than any other I've used in recent memory. It's just the trick of getting it to apply cleanly that's the hangup. :)

This goes on either barely at all or in one giant glump. There is no in-between. Once you get all the excess combed out with a metal lash comb then you have just OK mascara. Doesn't do anything but darken. Don't waste your money and time even if you can take it back.

this is the coolest and most effective product i have ever used. unlike most mascaras, there are plastic bristles that comb liquid mascara into your eyelashes. i am always recomending this product to my friends.
