It's an ok primer. Not significant oil control but it's better than nothing. I like the formula & how it blends in & smooths the skin.

I don't tend to bash products entirely, because usually they have something nice to offer..

That being said, it has a nice smell.. and that's about it. I also don't think that it angers or causes new breakouts.

It does nothing for oil-control and it feels like rice is just sitting on top of your skin. It's just plain strange to me. It may or may not be the reason my makeup slides off. It could just be the foundation I use.

It's also definitely not light-weight. Maybe this would help for someone with only slight oil problems, but for me it did absolutely nothing.

I think I'm on my fifth tube of this stuff. I've used really expensive primers that say they keep oily skin at bay, and only one of them actually did it, but it's way too expensive for me. I found this and thought, for the price, I should try it and now I won't use anything else. It really performs!

I wasn't too confident in this primer when I ordered it because it's fairly inexpensive, but after using it I LOVE this primer! My skin tends to get oily and I use oil absorbing sheets almost daily. On the days that I use this primer the sheets show me that my face isn't very oily, but when I forget my face has way more oil on it. The sheets show me a noticeable difference. Planning on buying again.

I've been using this primer for a few months now and am hooked! I've tried a lot of expensive primers, but they always make my skin too oily (even the ones that are supposed to be made for oily skin!). This is more of a mattefying primer -- it doesn't fill in your wrinkles and/or pores, which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Pleasantly Surprised! I'm always looking for a long lasting primer. Tried high end down to budget brand. This by far is my favorite! Very reasonable and does the job. I have oily skin and never would have tried this if not for an educated employee of Ulta. She turned me on to this product. Glad I asked for her advice.

I don't understand why there are bad reviews! I love this! I don't have super oily skin, but it is oily enough to have my face be shiny by lunch. Since I started using this product, my face is a lot less shiny and my fondation goes on super easy. I wash my face, use a light moisurizer, put on primer, put on fondation, use a little concealor if I need it and finish with a powder. It works very well and it is at a good price!

I bought this product for show choir. I dont have oily skin (i have dry skin flakes on my nose always) my skin is pretty normal. i chose the shine control formula because sweat and harsh stage lights dont go very well together. as a primer its not that great for making makeup stay on longer and better but i'll tell u what, in not one of my stage pictures is my skin shiny! :)) great product for someone with oily/shiny skin. i am 15
