I tried using by itself but it barely showed up so I had to put it over another color and by the evening it showed the creases in my eyes and was wearing off.

I own at least 6 of the Infallible Eye Shadows in colors from light to dark. They apply smoothly and blend easily. If you want a deeper color, or to use them as a liner, just wet your brush slightly. This is one of the best drugstore eye shadows I've found.

These are great eyeshadows! They are highly pigmented, buildable and they last all day. The reason I dropped a star is because I only liked the shimmery colors. The matte colors are not as buttery or pigmented as the shimmers and they were too light on my fair skin. The best way to apply these eyeshadows is with your fingers. I've noticed that it's hard for my Sigma brushes to pick up the product. Using your fingers gives it a nice foily appearance. I highly recommend Amber Rush for any skin tone because I'm super fair and it looked nice and my my has a very deep skin tone and it really complemented her golden undertones. They've become staples in my eyeshadow collections.

I am slowly building my color collection for this product line because it is so great! The colors I have including this one are all so pigmented and even more vivid on top of a primer and cream shadow(maybelline's color tattoo). Worth a try!

I use the shadow with an eyeliner brush on top of a eyeliner pencil to set the eyeliner and to add a hint of smokey eye --it's perfect!
