Comments about Tanda Zap Acne Spot Treatment Device:
I always have pimples on my face. But I also get some that seem a bit more stubborn than others, & in really obvious places like right above my lip or right on the ball of my cheek, etc. So that's why I decided to give this a try, to be used for those stubborn pimples. It's not a cure for acne. I think you have to put things in perspective as every one has diffent skin; hence different acne. So I do like it and find it does help reduce my stubborn pimples; also will force them to erupt sooner than if I weren't using the product. I even bring it with me to work since it is so small and portable. Doesn't hurt when using it and gives off a slight feeling of heat, But not at all burning. The one thing I don't like is that you cant use it on your neck as it may stimulate your thyroid, according to the directions. I was really hoping to use it on the painful almost cystic pimples that I get sometimes on my neck. But with that warning, I'm really hesitant to use on my neck. So after 1000 uses, you have to buy a new one. Not my ideal. But since it seems to be working, I am more than likely going to buy another after 1000 uses.
Comments about Tanda Zap Acne Spot Treatment Device:
The zap is not very cost effective the clear system is RECHARGABLE and lasts longer and the bigger head covers more areas I love it. I'd only get the zap for traveling.

Comments about Tanda Zap Acne Spot Treatment Device:
I bought this after trying just about every other acne product over the last 10-15 years. I am in my mid twenties and have struggled with pretty constant, wide ranging acne since I was a preteen (black heads, white heads, deep cysts, and rosacea). I've used Accutane and Proactive among so many other things with only mild improvement. I bought the Tanda out of desperation and have used it religiously for about a week and I think it works pretty well. All types of zits and blemishes have seemed to heal about twice as fast as they otherwise would, but the real miracle is that they haven't left any lasting red marks, discoloration, or scarring!!! When the Zap finally dies I think I will be ordering the Pro Model by Tanda (larger treamtment area, rechargable).
Comments about Tanda Zap Acne Spot Treatment Device:
My mom got this for me after trying everything else. I have dealt with bacterial acne for 12 years. Tried oral and topical prescription medicines, injections and numerous over the counter cleansers. Nothing seemed to work except the oral medicine that could ruin numerous organs. I had 2 major breakouts which took about 48 hrs to clear up. I had one small one that was gone in 24 hrs. Haven't had problems with the batteries yet, but I have rechargeable ones. I don't know if it works for everyone, but I'm a believer. 48 hrs is nothing compared to it normally taking over a week to heal.

Comments about Tanda Zap Acne Spot Treatment Device:
I wont say that it didnt work because it did, but it's not some quick fix miracle product like i was expecting. It did about as well as the less expensive creams and medications I already had. No point in splurging.

Comments about Tanda Zap Acne Spot Treatment Device:
I normally don't write product reviews, and I'm one of the biggest skeptics out there, but felt the need to post about the Tanda Zap! I was diagnosed more than 2 years ago with rosacea and I'd say for the past 2-3 years, I would experience constant breakouts by my mouth and chin. I have scarring from the effects. It became a constant stream of one huge welt at a time, at least twice a month.
I have been on antibiotic and topical medications, but still experienced at least one huge pimple per month (especially the week before menstruation). It was a guarantee.
Since I got the Tanda Zap in July, I can count on one hand the amount of PIMPLES I have had... not breakouts, pimples! And even when I've had a pimple, with Tanda treatment, it's gone in a couple of days.
I didn't even realize it's been about 5 months of usage until my family and friends starting complimenting me on my skin. I use it every 2-3 days and just do a treatment of my chin/mouth area. I 100% give credit to it for my lack of breakouts!
Yes - the battery life is horrible. But I bought rechargeable batteries and they're typically good for about 8 treatments before I recharge.
Absolutely worth the money to me!!

Comments about Tanda Zap Acne Spot Treatment Device:
I had a recent breakout that sent me on the hunt for a product to help with what I would call hormonal and moderate acne. I thought the price for this was decent compared to other comparable devices. I don't like the fact that it takes a zap session, or two, before I feel like the device is putting out the heat it touts. I would also piggyback on the many comments about this being a MAJOR battery zapper. I would recommend keeping this in mind in terms of the overall price since batteries are not cheap. I think I got about 15 or 20 zaps out of the first round of batteries, so figure that over the 1,000 uses the device promises and you got yourself an expensive zit zapper.
