I used when my hair was damp. I have fine, wavy, dry hair and this stuff made it crunchy and even more dry. It also leaves a sticky residue on the hair. I am so glad I received this as a free gift and didn't spend money on it.

I live in Michigan and I was really craving something to make me feel summery in these depressing long winter months so I went to Ulta in search of a beach wave spray! One of the salon girls recommended this spray to me. She had about shoulder length fine hair and had said it worked well for her all summer. I took it home and tried it on damp (but not too damp) towel dried hair and scrunched and twisted my little heart out. It did give my hair LOTS of volume..but too much. I have straight hair but it tends to awkwardly flip out at the ends. This spray did not help to turn my awkward waves into cute beach waves. I ended up putting my hair into a side french braid and the spray did help the braid hold really well when normally my braids fall out without the help of bobby pins. Over all I wouldn't recommend it for someone with longer and thicker hair.

This product gives decent scrunchiness, but leaves hair feeling a little stiff. Also experienced a salty residue that fell off on my shoulders after a couple hours of wear...almost looked like dandruff!!!

I spray sea salt sprays onto my damp hair before I blow dry. This spray seams to really dry my hair out and doesn't give the body I was hoping for. I love Bumble and Bumble spray better and KMS isn't too bad either. From the 4 or 5 sea salt sprays I've tried, this was my least favorite.

use on wet hair on the roots is the best, does dry ends out (hint the salt)smells great works good on shorter hair thats textured great volume.

I have very thick and very straight hair and this was the first time using a beach spray. Always wanted the look but didn't want to take the time to curl. It was the most effortless thing ive ever done to my hair! Towel dried a bit, sprayed, scrunched, and done!!! I tried blow drying with my diffuser, it didnt give me a different look so i saved time and let it air dry. Worked every time and received a ton of compliments at work. I was in Mexico this year and used the spray the whole time because it was better than the real thing, more definition in the waves. Only cons are that it's pricey and I went through it quick, but I still gave it 5 stars since it was well worth the money!

I was looking for Sally Hershberger wave spray that is no longer carried and was told to try this. It's not horrible but not really an effective wave spray. It sprays alot and gets the floor wet and doesnt do much but add a little prodice to the hair. It wasnt crunchy which was nice.
