Comments about H2O Plus Aquafirm Micro-Collagen Moisturizer:
This product is great and a pain in the butt at the same time.
I should start off by saying I bought all of the products in the Aquafirm product line from H2O Plus and I am using them as they should be used in conjunction with each other.
Bottom line... The system works. After everything is on and dried my skin looks noticeably firmer and younger. The raccoon eyes and the bags that go with them are gone, the small crows feet are gone and my skin no longer looks thin and crepe-like. You can't argue with results.
The problem is that the system is a four piece gel based product line that rubs off like rubber cement after it's dried if you are not careful.
This is a ubiquitous problem. Every gel based product I have tried does this. The solution for me has always been three things.
First, make sure your face is wet before you start. The extra water extends the amount of time you have before the product dries and rubs off. I use the Philosophy Spritzer because it seems to stay moist longer but you use whatever you like best. And with this system, I recommend using it between the layers because the gels are a little under-hydrated.
Second, mix in a face primer when you apply the face cream. I've tried several brands of face primer, and so far, all have worked.
Third, God SPEED! After the face cream is on, get the liquid foundation on your face ASAP before the gel dries. Time = Evaporation. Evaporated = Rubber Cement.
