Comments about Revlon Perfect Heat Curling Iron:

I wanted to love this product so much because I wanted to finally find a curling iron that's more on the affordable side, but I couldn't. I wanted the 1 & 1/2" curling iron to achieve the looser, more effortless waves. My first initial reaction after heating it up was "is it gonna get any hotter?" I was able to still touch it with my fingers because it wasn't hot at all and it was on the highest setting. Keep in mind, I usually use a NuMe Wand to curl my hair.

Using it with the clamp was disappointing because it left the most awkward crimp in my hair that my straightening iron couldn't even smooth out. Then I tried the 'wrap around the wand' method and that worked for about 2 minutes before the curl turned slick straight in that time span. My hair is also super easy to curl and can keep a curl without adding any hair products. I even tried to bobby pin every curl in place, hair sprayed, then let loose after it had cool to see if it would hold but it still didn't. So disappointing :(

There's a tendancy to shut off the iron while using. on/off button is near where the hand rotates the iron.
