I liked this brush... at first. I thought it would be good for blow drying because of the vents. I was wrong. I blow dry very rarely and on medium (not high) heat. After the first time I noticed that some of the bristles were bent from heat damage. I decided to keep trying to use it, but not while blow drying. Slowly but surely more and more bristles are breaking and the pins are flying off, and I have not had it that long. I do have thick hair, but it is not very tangled or unruly.

I bought this brush to use on my 7-year old daughter's kinky curly (tightly coiled) hair and it works great! I've always used just a wide-tooth comb on her hair when I detangle it in the shower once a week, but I find the brush actually does a great job at not fraying the ends. It doesn't hurt as much either. I never believed that using a brush on kinky curly hair would work but it does. The only con is that it's hard to hold when my hands are wet and slippery from all the conditioner I use while detangling her hair.

I have a couple brushes by Olivia Garden. This brush is the one I use daily. It is gentle and won't damage hair. It is good for blow drying. It is of good quality, and I like the neutral look of the brush. I would buy this brush again.

The hair brush looked nicely designed, so I thought it would work great too. However it is very hard and hurt my head when I tried to use it. After a few uses the tips of the pins fell off, which is weird, because I was very gentle with the brush.
Not worth the money spent. Going back to the cheaper kind of brushes, they do the job well and don't fall apart easily.

I use this brush for blowdrying. It's like a paddle brush and a vent brush in one. It works especially well on long hair that may need some frizz taming, and also helps dry the hair quickly.
If I had to find one fault, I woud say it could be more of a square shape rather than oval.

Purchased brush for 10yr old daughter. She has waste length hair and is always complaining that I pull her hair and it hurts to be brushed. Since using this brush, she complains a lot less. Also seems to make hair more smooth. Price is reasonable too.
