it is a good scalp massager and i like using this through my hair when i oil it BUT i wouldn't say it was for detangling on dry OR wet hair, it can get caught pretty easy. i tried many times to pull through my hair and i just think i might be doing more harm then good so i just concentrate on my scalp. it might be different for other textures of hair but for my curls it just isn't doing any good on that spectrum.

This was the only line of brushes I could find at my local Ulta made out of natural materials. The bamboo is nice and the bristles soft and massage the scalp nicely. Unfortunately, the first brush I bought lost bristles by the second day of use. I exchanged for the same and so far so good. Made in China and I can tell the glue used to hold bristles in place will need to be touched up.

Nice sturdy brush, but not so great for untangling wet hair.

I have long, bleached blonde hair that is naturally wavy and capable of becoming tangled and damaged. After using some bamboo oil on damp hair, this paddle brush perfectly detangles my hair and provides a relaxing head message. If I am brushing out dry hair that has not been straightened, there appears to be more static that can occur. Luckily, that is not typical of how I brush my hair. The paddle brush is great overall great for my use and I would absolutely buy it again.

I use this daily. I was looking for a brush to use on thick hair because i always break the handles on my paddle brushes. I found this bamboo, all one piece so i solved that problem, but the bristles are hard on my air.

I've just gotten this brush because it claimed to be good for thinning hair. My old brush was pulling too much hair out so I thought it was time for a change. I really like how the ends of the bristles massage my scalp. I haven't been using it long enough to see how it will effect my hair-shedding problem but so far it doesn't seem to be making it any worse.

I've been searching for a hair brush that wouldn't yank my hair and would also help my scalp and make my hair feel soft and knot-free. This brush is it! I'm so glad I bought it.
