Like an earlier reveiwer mentioned..you can see everything...so that is a plus ..but prepare yourself!..you can varily tell that it is lit..I dont even turn in on..the weight of it is nice and it feels secure on the countertop/vanity..and stays put..does the trick for me!

Only the brave should use this mirror because it shows everything...wrinkles, pores, blackheads, nose hairs, misplaced brow hairs. But great for perfecting all makeup. Wouldn't want to go out in public without using it. It can make the difference in looking good and looking rediculous.

needs to have adjustable stand or adaptable to mount. Unless you are able to sit or find a high spot to set the mirror or do things with one hand while bending over holding the mirror in one hand, it's decorative only. The hi/lo light doesn't have much contrast between the two.

I love the size of this makeup mirror. It does not take up a lot of space on the counter. Also I love that it is battery operated so I can move it around where ever I want and still have it light up to put on my make up and I do not have to worry about a cord. The magnification is great. Being now that I am over 40 I can now finally see my eyes in this mirror to put on my eye makeup. Wish I purchased it earilier. Love it!!!!
