Comments about Real Techniques Setting Brush:

Real Techniques is a great brand! I use this brush to highlight all over my face. It is shaped perfectly to fit under your eyes and is very soft. Applies product nicely. I recently wanted to purchase a Sigma brush kit but my mother told me about these brushes. I will never buy another brand after finding these. The price is reasonable. I'm a little nervous to clean them because I have read that some f the brushes bristles fall out after cleaning. I guess I'll have to find out

Purchased this brush to use with my banana powder to set the concealer under my eyes. I was originally using an Elf brush - actually think I prefer the Elf brush because of it's size. This brush is super soft, easy to use, just a little smaller then I was expecting (ordered online).

                    Hi Beauty Buff,

Great question! Our brush bristles are all synthetic, made from a taklon blend and are 100% cruelty free!

                    Thanks!

I'm planning on purchasing the "sculpting brush" from Real Techniques to contour my face with bronzer.
I was wondering whether the "sculpting brush" or this brush (setting brush) would work best to contour my nose, as well as blend? What would you recommend for contouring the nose with bronzer?

                    A:

                    Hi Beauty Love,

That is such a great question! I had to stop and think for a moment because I love BOTH of those brushes so much! The Sculpting Brush is going to be much better for the larger areas of your face (cheeks, forehead, chin) where you want that contoured look. But, I think you will want a smaller brush head for contouring your nose and you will probably see better, more precise results with the Setting Brush.

One other brush you might want to consider for contouring your nose is the Foundation Brush. It has angled bristles (like the Sculpting Brush), but is not quite as large. I think you would be happy with either the Setting of the Foundation brush - and please let us know how it works for you!!

                    A:

It is a bit too large to use for eyeshadow. It works best for a controlled dusting of setting powder or highlighter.

                    A:

Because Setting Brush is designed for use with powder formulas, we do not recommend using it to apply liquid concealer. Instead, use a concealer brush like the Detailer Brush, which is included in the Core Collection:
                    http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod3220069

The Detailer Brush is precision cut to effortlessly conceal problem areas.
