Comments about Laura Geller Spackle Tinted Under Make-Up Primer:

I stumbled on Laura Geller's Spackle by accident several years ago. It has been a staple of mine ever since! I just love how light weight it is, how smoothly it goes on and how it allows my powder to last literally all day long. Seriously, I do not have to even touch up my powder during the day. For the longest time I was bringing my makeup bag to work with me because I was so use to touching up my face. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that my face looks as fresh at 5pm as it did at 8am. Laura Geller's Spackle is a wonderful product! That is a staple I plan on using again and again!! Hope this helps someone.

Comments about Laura Geller Spackle Tinted Under Make-Up Primer:

I really, really love products from the Laura Geller line - everything I have used has been amazing. I was on the hunt for a new primer and thought I would test out one of hers, since I use her baked foundation.

I wanted something light, that brightened my skin and gave me a little glow. This Primer (in the Champagne) was almost perfect.

It goes on really smooth and light, it has a little sparkle that gives your skin a natural looking glow. I really loved it - I wore it under makeup and just on it's own for a dewey look.

Sadly, after about a week and a half of use, I started to get an itchy rash along my jaw line and across my cheeks - I refused to beleive it was my lovely new primer, but alas I had to admit that was the culpret. Once I pulled it from my daily routine, the rash disappeared. And it was returned :(

IF you do not have sensitive skin - I would highly reccommend this product, it really makes your skin look beautiful.

I have mature, dry skin, and my skin tone is fair. I have a red tone to my skin due to rosacea. What color should I purchase--champagne or ethereal?

I want to wear this under my makeup so I'm looking for a product that helps my makeup application easier and also provides a bit of a glow due to my aging skin.

                  A:

Laura Geller tinted Spackles will leave the skin with a somewhat dewy finish. They give the skin a natural looking luminosity, a healthy radiance, and what we like to call a "lit from within" glow. They will help with oil control because they create a barrier between your skin and whatever makeup you put on top... So basically, that barrier will help prevent the oil from seeping through the surface. If you are looking for a primer with a matte finish, we would recommend Spackle in Original, Neutralizer, or Supercharged. Those Spackles do not have a radiance.

              • Q:

Can you tell me the difference between the champagne and the ethereal colors? Is the bronze primer a sheer color? Would it be too dark for lighter skin or would it blend in?

                  A:

Ethereal features a brightening, pearlescent pink finish, while Champagne features a shimmering, champagne glow finish.

All shades including Bronze apply very sheerly and are suitable for all complexions.

Each features a sheer tint suitable for all complexions! If you're desiring a highlight/glow effect, choose Champagne or Ethereal. For a bronze/sun kissed effect, choose Bronze.
