New pencil requires a good sharpener, but no matter how good the sharpener, the liner is much too soft. A nice, thin tip cannot be achieved, therefore a thin line is difficult to draw. While the previous liner was not as bold in color and would rub off a bit easier, it did not require a sharpener and always had a thin tip. It was much easier to apply. I do enjoy a thick line for evening and social events, but I do not care to look like Elvira when going to work. I do not recommend this new liner unless you are very patient and are going for a very bold, 'vamped' look.

whats good is that it last all day, The color is just enough without being to bold. the cons are that it is a little hard to remove all.

since the formula for this eyeliner was changed to waterproof, it will not go on the eyes smoothly it doesn't even go on on, it comes off, waxy.

Was looking for a long lasting eye liner. This is a clumpy eye liner and once you apply it it is very hard to blend and make it look smooth. May be best for under eye lashes or someone who is a professional to apply. If you make a mistake applying, very hard to correct and clean it up.

Was skeptic about this product because I have bought other products that claimed to be waterproof but omg! this eyeliner stays on until YOU take it off. It doesn't smear at all. Will definitely buy again...please don't ever discontinue.

I liked the eyeliner previous to this better. The brown is just too dark and hard to get a thin line on.

I've been a Bare Escentuals user for a long time. This is the first time I've tried one of their waterproof liners. It won't be the last.
