I find that it is great at making pimples disappear. If I feel one coming up, I dab this on a few times a day and its gone! Not a very pleasant smell but after a few minutes you cant smell it. I gave it 4 stars because it is difficult to get out of the bottle and some of the product gets wasted. But overall great product.

                Miracle in a bottle!

                By Lisa

                from Tampa, FL

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil:

I am prone to getting keloids after a piercing and after reading discussions to alleviate/get rid of them, i decided to give tea tree oil a shot and it works practically overnight!

I recently pierced my daith in Sept and developed keloids on both the top and bottom of my piercing shortly thereafter. After dealing with it, I turned to this oil just last week (now Dec), and within 3 days my bulging, angry, irritated, painful and embarrassing keloids have DISAPPEARED!!! They are flattened and my skin is back to normal. it's an absolute miracle since I did not expect it to work.

I also tried this on a recently formed acne cyst (those deep under the skin painful ones) and this alleviated the pain, reduced redness, and flattened the spot.

Really a great buy for what it has done for me. I add a few drops onto a Qtip and apply to affected area.

Thank you for contacting The Body Shop. Tea Tree Oil can be used any time, morning or evening. It should be applied as needed onto blemishes or pimples. We do not recommend using it all over your face, as such, you should continue using your regular moisturizer.

                    A:

Tea Tree Oil helps soothe blemished skin and works to promote new tissue which accelerates the healing of blemishes. The oil can be used as a spot treatment.

Tea Tree Blemish Fade Lotion is a night time moisturizer that should be used on the face after cleanser and toner. It is a lightweight gel crème moisturizer that sinks into the skin and helps to equalize oiliness and replenish moisture while asleep.

Tea Tree is nature's alternative to harsh stripping ingredients. When a complete Tea Tree skin care regimen is used, many users can see visibly clearer skin within 3 days, without over-drying the skin.

We are not able to provide specific advice related to medication interaction. We advise that you consult your physician.
