Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil:

I love this oil. I just dab a bit on a cotton swab and swipe it over acne. I have a little bit of hormonal breakouts on my chin and this is really helping to clear it up! They aren't as big and red. I also had a dry spot in my scalp- cleared it right up! :) I'll be keeping this with me all the time.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil:

I'm on my second bottle and I absolutely love this stuff. I get red spots on my chest so I started putting a couple of drops of this directly on my chest after the shower. The redness is completely gone within an hour or so. I also use this under my arms to help with irritation and odor. I haven't used it on my face but I don't have many breakouts on my face so I can't comment on that. But the redness on my chest has completely cleared up and started from the very first use.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil:

I hope I'm not speaking too soon about this product, but so far I'm blown away. I was blessed with a perfect complexion as a teenager, and I rarely had to wear any makeup. Now as a young adult I'm finding myself with more and more breakouts, especially hormonal. It's unbelievably frustrating. I thought pimples were only supposed to happen in high school! Now I feel like a major nerd showing up to my full time job with zits on my face.
I've been having an especially bad breakout this week with my period. Red spots all over my face, so I drove to Ulta and picked this up. I'd been eyeing it for a few weeks but it was always too pricey (still is, but I was desperate). It's a very small bottle for what you're paying, that's my only complaint so far.
I got home, washed my face, moisturized, and then dabbed this stuff on with a cotton ball on the really bad areas. I took a little nap after that and woke up to IMMEDIATELY better skin! The breakouts are still there, but they've already diminished drastically in such a short amount of time. I was stunned. My forehead has been a problem area for months now, covered in tiny red under the skin bumps, and now they're almost cleared! My skin doesn't feel irritated anymore either. Will definitely be going back asap and buying the night lotion and hopefully I'll have my clear skin back soon!
        Thank you Body Shop!!

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil:

I use this product before bed anytime I have an outbreak. Cleanse my face first, then nab a bit of the tea tree oil on the blemish. After that I put lotion on. I haven't noticed any drying effects, but to be safe I moisturize after use.
The oil is incredible! I'm in love with it. It may smell like dirt, but the oil gets rid of the pimple within a day or two. Stops the pain and irritation immediately. I've never found something more perfect or natural.

I wanted a natural antiseptic kind of remedy for occasional skin breakouts. This is effective and dries up my chin breakouts. It has no odor, easy to apply, and does not burn on my irritated skin.

I can not rate this product because I did not open the bottle. I returned it un-opened. I didn't realize it is not 100% tea tree oil until I got home and read the back of the label. Shame on me for assuming it is 100% just because it has big "TEA TREE OIL" letters on the front of the label. If you are looking for 100% tea tree oil I would not recommend it.

How is this product different from the tea tree oil blemish fade lotion? Do they both have the same functions? and how soon can results be seen? Is this recommended for someone with cyctic acne? I'm currently using Aczone & Epiduo but am looking for something to remove/fade the blemish spots after the zit has dried up.

                    A:

Tea Tree Oil helps soothe blemished skin and works to promote new tissue which accelerates the healing of blemishes. The oil can be used as a spot treatment.

Tea Tree Blemish Fade Lotion is a night time moisturizer that should be used on the face after cleanser and toner. It is a lightweight gel crème moisturizer that sinks into the skin and helps to equalize oiliness and replenish moisture while asleep.

Tea Tree is nature's alternative to harsh stripping ingredients. When a complete Tea Tree skin care regimen is used, many users can see visibly clearer skin within 3 days, without over-drying the skin.
