Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion:

I purchased this moisturizer because my skin reacts really good to tea tree oil, so I figured this would be perfect to replace my CerVa moisturizer. I have very acne prone skin and this has dramatically improved it. However, I cannot use just this product because it is a little drying around my mouth and between my eyebrows. I add just a little bit of my moisturizer to combat the tightness, and I have oily skin so I would not recommend this to people with dry skin.

Also, the smell does not bother me because I have used a lot worse smelling stuff before and it goes away in about 5 minutes.

I have very oily skin that tends to break out. This lotion drys out my skin which is what I need and helps control the break outs. The tea tree is amazing and is great for oily acne prone skin! I always buy a couple bottles at a time because I never want to run out.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion:

I had heard a lot of good things about this product online for people with troubled skin, which I had recently battled with. I know that tea tree oil is really good for the skin, so I decided to try it but unfortunately I have yet to see any results. I used it for about two weeks before switching to just using 100% tea tree oil to just dab on my troubled areas as a toner after my cleansing routine and it has worked a lot better than this lotion.
Maybe I needed to use it for longer, I haven't given up hope on it yet, but so far... Not impressed

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion:

I like this. It smooths and keeps my face matte under my makeup. I don't think it is breaking me out. I put this on after I wash my face in the morning and follow with a few pats of Mally PPP primer on my cheeks. Then I put on Clinique acne solutions foundation and mineral powder. So far, it has kept my face fairly matte almost all day -- even in Texas summer heat and humidity.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion:

I loved this in my teens when I was still an oil slick but now after 3 years of using it; after about 14 months in, I realized I am getting dry patches! I always had oily now I am combo. This got so bad I had to take off my makeup, exfoliate the patches (sometimes in the car because it happened suddenly), and re apply makeup.

I now found a solution of diluting it on a 1:2 ratio of this and another brands hydrating acne moisturizer. Problem solved.

Have I had better? Yes. But not for this price. So I will most likely stick with this until my next skin concern (wrinkles prob won't be managed well with this).

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion:

The lotion looks amazing in the beginning. I use it as a lotion after I'm done washing my face in the morning. But by the time I'm out of class and ready to head home at 1 in the afternoon, I'm already shiny like a disco ball :/ I don't see myself buying this again.

Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion:

I bought this product because I own the tea tree face mask and it works amazing, but I wanted to have that effect everyday, so I decided to try this moisturizer. It's so soothing and doesn't dry my skin out or leave me oily. I've only been using it for 3 days and my skin is visibly clearer and less shiny throughout the day! I would definitely recommend this product along with any of the other tea tree products!

I would give perfect review if it was a little more long-lasting, but it's the best to apply right after shower/face wash with the scrub from same brand/type.

Yes, we suggest using Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion during the daytime and Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion overnight for best results.

                • Q:

I've read reviews about this product over-drying skin, but that's obviously on a person to person basis. I am interested in this product, but my face does have a tendency to become dry, especially when I've used acne-specific moisturizers.

My concern is, if I use this product alone, if it will over-dry my skin. So, it is possible to mix it with another moisturizer or lotion to prevent any sort of over-drying of my skin?
