I bought this because it looked like a good alternative to the cost of Keratin treatments, but it was not. It didn't work and may have even dried my hair out. It seems simply a waste of money to me.

This product was the worst! Even though it smells like rotten eggs, I went through the entire process because I spent so much money on the stuff. My hair literally stank for a week and a half. I was washing my hair two times each day trying to get that nasty smell out of it! What is worse is that it didn't even take the frizz out of my hair. Don't buy it!!!!!

I have 3c/4a Natural Hair. My hair is past my shoulders so I used the whole bottle. It has a strong smell of eggs so use in a well ventilated area. I blow dried and flat ironed my hair. I had to add like a heat protector due to the high heat of the flat iron and some argan cause it still felt kinda dry to me. I ended up leaving it in my hair a couple of days then washed it out. It doesn't necessarily straighten your hair totally.I still had my ringlets after I washed it out. It does reduce the frizz. My hair was very soft and manageable plus not as tangled as it normally would be. I purchased this product so that I could exercise more and wash my hair at least every two days(I dont necessarily want to flat iron my hair all the time) with out it being so dry and having to go through the moisturization process.You ladies know it takes a couple of days! After a couple of washes it still smells like eggs, but soft and and manageable. I had to buy the shampoo and conditon cause my hair just soaked it right on up. All Ojon needs now is like a leave product if I want to blow dry it and flat iron it. Other than that.I am overall impressed with the product but hate its so expensive and so are the shampoo,conditioner and oils.

I wanted to save a little money and try something at home. I went by the instructions exactly! My hair is now straw like, very dry, stripped all my color out and my long beautiful hair that I spent years growing is breaking off! I am going to have to cut my hair short to get rid of the ugly orange!! My hairdresser wont even color it. Do NOT buy this product!!!!!

I am African American. I have kinky hair. I have natural hair. I do not get a relaxer. I straighten my hair with a flat iron once a week to acheive a sleek look. I used this product last night based on the online reviews.
1. the smell is so strong i started coughing.
2. My hair was easier to straighten with my flat iron after use.
3. After i got out the shower, my hair was not as BIG, it was straighter and flatter to my head. But this didn't translate into extreme ease when straightening with my flat iron, but i could notice a slight difference.
4. I noticed my hair seemed a little damaged after using the treatment. It made it look like i needed my ends trimmed a little.

Overall, i would recommend this product to African American women with natural kinky hair (no relaxer). Especially if you are thinking about going back to the relaxer. Try this product first.

I purchased this product in June 2012. It's only supposed to last 3 to 4 months, its now November and my hair still has not returned to it's natural state. This product completly stripped my natural curl from my hair. Wet or dry, no curl. I have been using a clarifying shampoo to try and wash the remaining product out but it seems to be taking forever. I will try adding salt to my conditioner next to help speed the process up. I MISS MY CURLS. Do not buy this product, the smell alone is reason enough not to purchase.

So my 2 year old has shoulder length kinky,nappy,curly hair that has been a nightmare to manage. We have tried every product under the sun to tame the frizz and manage the tangles, rat nests, or "BB's" as my husband calls them. Coming our daughters hair ALWAYS involves tears, tantrums and lots of drama so we trided this kit for the very curly hair. I followed the directions to a T and couldn't be happier! My daughter played in the tub while I combed the product in her hair and it didn't bother her at all! We rinsed it out condtioned, blow dried, and flat ironed and went to bed. The next morning for the first time in her life we ran a comb through her hair and it didn't snag once!!! The smell smelled like a perm (no shock) and faded by the next day, if you stick your face in her hair (2 days later) the smell is still there but you have to put her nose in to smell it, again no shock. Will continue using this to main tain!!!!
