Comments about Essie Nail Polish - Go Overboard Collection:
Pros: chip-resistant and long-lasting, even on fingers; improves length/durability of my nails; color-saturated and usually true to how it appears in the bottle; dries quickly and leaves no "sheet marks."
Cons: may need up to three coats to get a uniform application; sometimes the polish starts to dry as I'm painting a nail, resulting in dragging the polish ... must apply quickly in as few strokes as possible; sometimes difficult to apply, particularly the chalky pastel shades.
Play Date: This is a mid-tone neon purple, very appropriate for spring and summer, and my favorite Essie to date. Applies very smoothly and usually lasts a week on fingers. If you only apply one shade it is a little less intense, like a wash. I prefer the wash of color on my fingers. You get full-on uniform color with two coats. Also this is a very unique shade, hard to duplicate and well worth the money. Highly recommend!
