I was very happy with this product . It does what is says. But it is very strong, use it once a week because it totally made my front and top part of my hair white and even had purplish tints . It's important when using it to use it sparingly and spread the uses out, and STOP WHEN YOU GET THE COLOR YOU WANT!!!! It does say on te package use it once a week but it never warned me about the purple tints it put in my hair . It totally took out the pigment and not I'm trying to repair my hair again so I can dye it back.

I have tried many purple shampoos, including Schwartzkopf, Clairol and Jhirmack, but I like this one best. I am very sensitive to smell and while I wouldn't purchase a regular shampoo that smells like this one, it smells way better than any other purple shampoo I've used. I also liked that it wasn't thick and didn't leave me with buildup. I am staying with a cousin right now, and her plumbing is old so I was getting a lot of brassiness in my hair. This, paired with the brands Hot Shots over a couple of washes reversed it effectively.

So I just recently ombred my hair myself and because I was going from a dark brown to a blonde, it left my hair kinda orangy,yellow and well brassy. I bought this today and just used it for the first time and it left my hair a pretty golden blonde! I saw all the reviews on here and was really scared. It left my hair pretty dry but because there was a sale on Lee Stafford products,I bought the Lee Stafford argan oil hair mask and it did the trick. I used this shampoo in conjunction with the John Frieda Go Blonder Lightning conditioner! I just love it

I just want to add that none of these "purple shampoos" produce the same kind of lather a regular shampoo does. It's not just this brand. I've used other brands, and it's just the way they're formulated. I have found that if you work it in more aggressively, it does produce more lather. You just have to work it in a bit more.

I use it once about every 5 days and find it softens the tones of my dyed blonde hair, making
my hair look more natural, healthier and shinier.

I've tried a million purple shampoos claiming to tone your hair and none worked. THIS did! I looked like I came right from the salon! Made my bleached and highlighted hair a beautiful light whitish blonde. It is a bit runny, so you need to use more product, but other than that I love this shampoo!

I have used this shampoo several times now and I am very happy with what it has done for my blonde highlights. They tend to become brassy over time, but this shampoo has made them a beautiful ashy blonde. I alternate between this and my regular shampoo, otherwise I think it would be overkill and I would end up with purple highlights. I would recommend this shampoo and I will be buying it again.

It was really hard to get this product out of the tube. I had to unscrew the top and squeeze it out.
In addition, I think it tinted my hair a reddish color. I had to return it.

I felt it took some brassiness out, but not enough for me. Even if i use it as much as possible. May be my hair type just don't respond so much to this one. But it's not super bad either, since it DID take some out.
