I will admit that this does what is says. It made my hair straight, and it was easier to style. But it also seemed to strip my hair and make it very dry. It also seemed to make my hair lighter. WHich was temporary, because when I washed with my regular shampoo, it was fine. So most likely it looked lighter, because it was dried out. While it did work, I think I realized that I want soft, shiny and healthy hair more than I want stick straight hair. So I returned the product.

it is more expensive than other brands at drug store but is well worth it . it has improved the look and feel of my hair. which has been colored and permed.. my hair is maturally curly but not at roots in some arears so i had a perm ::: mistake. it dried my hair out and became frizzie. this shampoo and conditioner has done wounders to improve the appearance of my hair it is also more managable. I wish i would have bought. some of the after care products but i will try them next time i get to ultra. thanks you for a great product Dorothy Quinn Sherman

I ran out of my normal cleansing conditioner, so I bought this until my order arrives. My hair is not quite as smooth and sleek but still looks healthy. I think I should have bought the oil to obtain that finished, sleek look for straight hair. The amount of product compared to the price is depressing but in a pinch it works. I would not recommend for price/value only. The products work but are a very poor value.
