I have just been using this product for less than 1 full week, twice daily, as indicated and have felt a smoothness to my skin as well as noticed some lightening of the malasma issue I have. Given more time, I hope that this product will resolve most of the issues I have with the discoloration as I have noticed some change, but it has been only a week.

On November 3, 2012, I purchased a bottle of Peter Thomas Roth De-Spot corrector after reading several reviews of how it was amazing at correcting dark spots. After using this product as directed for the past 6 weeks I haven't noticed any difference within the discoloration on my skin. According to information on the back of the bottle as well as some reviews there was a noticeably difference within the first 2 weeks of using DeSpot however; that is not my experience. I'm highly disappointed in the claims as they aren't accurate. I will not purchase this product again and felt I should express my displeasure with the claims.

I had/have very noticeable masking from my pregnancy (16 months ago) and some sun damage. This product has worked extremely well to help fade those problems in just 3 weeks I noticed a difference. I also have very oily skin with noticeable pores, and using this as a foundation primer has really helped with those two things and with the wear and longevity of my makeup in general (because I'm so oily I have horrible problems with oxidization and "melt-off"). It has an odd, but not unpleasant scent, you just have to get used to it. I would have given this product a 5, but my only draw back (with every PTR product) is that it is PRICEY, worth every penny, but still pricey. (BTW I had previously tried another serum from another high end dept store brand (rhymes with sandstone) which did NOTHING for me!)
