I am absolutely shocked at the amount of negative reviews on this product. My experience with it so far has been nothing short of great. My lips are already moderately full to begin with, and this product really gives my lips that extra oomph I've been looking for. I use it alone or over NYX lipsticks, and both give me great results. The plumping action doesn't take effect immediately, though, so be patient! I apply it every few hours or so and as the day progresses, my lips get noticeably fuller. I use it pretty much every single day, and when I skip a day, it's definitely noticeable, and my lips slowly start returning to their thinner state. So I would suggest using it as often as you can for the best results. Another thing is that I really don't understand why people are complaining about the tingling/burning sensation... IT'S A LIP PLUMPER! What do you expect? Have you never used a lip plumper before...? So overall, this product works wonders for me. The only small complaint I have is the color selection. Like all NYX products, the picture you see online rarely ever matches what you see in real life, so watch out for that! Other than that, this lip plumper is PERFECTION. Follow my advice and there's no way you'll be disappointed!

Only reason why I have it a 3 was because it doesnt plump as much as i would want it too.
It has a burning sensation not to bad and goes away soon.

I already have large lips, so I don't really need this, but have kind of gotten obsessed with wanting them to look even bigger. As soon as I bought it I applied it to only my top lip because I was afraid if I put it on the bottom, with them being so big, it would look like it was swollen. I already had gloss on, and felt like a cooling sensation - I wouldn't call it burning or tingly at all. I didn't notice a difference in size at all and hoped maybe it was just because I had other gloss on and it just wasn't effective that way. When I got home, I washed all my gloss off and started new. Since I didn't notice a difference the first time, I figured I'd try it on both lips - plus I was at home, so if it did seriously plump I wouldn't be embarrassed about it in public. Well again, I got the cooling sensation - kind of like applying Blistex or Carmex, but not even that potent. No burn, no tingles, no change in size at all. I don't know if I got a bum bottle or what, but I am disappointed. It's a decent color and looks pretty and subtle (I got Pamela), but other than that, it didn't do what it said it would do - for me anyway. Bummed out :(

This stuff really does plump, but it also burns so bad! I tried it once and can't bring myself to use it again. If you really want your lips bigger, this will work, but I can't see how anyone can keep this on for more than a few minutes.

I decided to try this because of the price,as I didn't want to spend $18 on a Bare Minerals Moxie gloss that I had my eye on, and this came in a similar color. Basically, you get what you pay for.

I prefer plumping products that use natural oils such as clove, peppermint, or cinnamon. This product doesn't have any of those, not sure what makes it work. However, rather than the pleasant tingling I get from my other Moxie glosses, this is a borderline-painful sensation that while tolerble, is kind of unpleasant.

It does work, so if you can handle the sensation and like the colors, go for it. I doubt I will purchase again, I'd rather spend the extra money and get the higer-quality product that I know I like.

I use this on top of a lipstick and it's great. Great shine and color. Drying by itself. Great for the price.

Great product for the price but a little too gooey. The color was very bland (may just need to choose one with more color instead of nude). Did plump, though!

I bought Liv (clear) so I could wear it over colors & it does sting a little & taste a bit minty but my lips weren't anymore plumped than usual. Still it did last a lot longer than any gloss I've tried.

Picked up the wrong product. We were looking for the Tiramisu color, but the store didn't have it in stock, so we picked this one up by mistake. It is great for women who are looking to plump up their lips, but my daughter already has full lips, so not for her.
