I use this product to create a softer line around my eyes. I don't fare so well applying traditional eyeliner, so I thought this product would provide an assist in creating a smoother and less harsh lines.

I will say the product delivers in creating the smoky look. I've used this product several times to create a smoky eye and it looked hot! (My date even gave me a thumbs up).

However, the product is quite messy. I saw that it is a powder liner, but I thought it couldn't be that bad. When you apply the liner, tap the wand to remove excess powder then apply. If you fail to do this expect, plenty of black powder under your eyes and any where else the powder may fall.

Also, I would recommend this product to lightly fill in your brows (if you have dark brows). Try to use a light hand or after you've already lined your eyes, so the color doesn't deposit as heavily and you don't look like Bert (or Ernie).

The powder went on my eye and everywhere else on my face. It made me look like I had a black eye and not in a good way. The powder fell onto my cheeks and nose and it wasn't easily removed. I had to remove all my eye makeup and start over and touch up where the powder fell on my face. Sorry, this wasn't a winner for me.

... but it was just too messy. Every time I tried to use it, I would end up with black powder on my cheeks. I even tried using it with mascara shields but it made it too difficult to apply. I tried everything to get all of the "excess" product off the applicator, but I still ended up with a dusting below my eyes. It's a great idea in theory, but there is just too much product that stays on the applicator - which makes it messy. Had to toss it.

I find this to work best when placed on top of liquid liner just to soften the look and give a subtle smokey touch.

I put this very close to my lash line for just a little definition without looking fake.

Just watch out for powder that falls on your face area, but otherwise good product.

Good idea but powder falls all over your face when you apply, and all but disappears during the day. Makes you look like you have black eyes or dark circles under your eyes.

Great product very similar to the middle eastern kohl but without the problem of lead.
Great for lining the inside of the eye and outside.
