It holds down the fly a ways immediately and I have control then to shape my hair the way I want to. This is my second can of Frizz Defy. I use it after my hair is finished for protection and to get the few extras on the very top to be tame.

A little pricy, but well worth every penny! Controls curly/wavy hair (without being stiff, sticky, or crunchy even in South Alabama humidity, has a light, very pleasant fragrance, and does not fry out hair or scalp.

As an African American woman with chemically processed hair the humidity in NY can be brutal. This product did not hold one curl in place my hair started drooping before I left the house even with the air conditioner on. I WANT MY MONEY BACK WILL NOT USE PRODUCT AGAIN WHAT A WASTE.
